With the Sun-Pearl in hand, they raced back to the palace. The Ice Sorcerer let out a final, chilling roar, but as Ariana held the pearl high, a wave of golden heat erupted. The silver frost evaporated, and the Sea World bloomed with even more color than before. The kingdom was saved once again.
The Sea King stood before them, but this time, he knelt. "You are more than guests; you are the Protectors of the Tides." He gifted them two necklaces made of indestructible sea-glass. "These will allow you to hear the ocean's needs even when you are walking the streets of Seoul."
Returning to the surface, the sun was rising over the Han River. They weren't just two college students anymore; they were the bridge between two civilizations. As they walked back to their apartment, Ji-wong pulled Ariana close. "So," he smirked, "ready for breakfast, Protector of the Tides?"
Ariana laughed, the sea-glass necklace shimmering against her skin. "Only if you're buying, Hero of the Abyss." Their adventure was far from over, for they now belonged to two worlds, bound forever by a love that was deeper than the ocean itself.
