Might Guy quickly arrived at Kurenai Yuhi's former residence. When he spotted Raizen, the man was sitting leisurely in the courtyard, sipping tea.
Guy strolled in slowly. "Yo, Raizen! How can you sit here so peacefully after causing such a mess?"
Looking at Guy's shiny, bald head, Raizen couldn't help but chuckle. "Me? What trouble have I caused?"
Guy sat on an empty chair and took a sip of the tea Raizen poured for him. "The Princess ordered me to tie you up and bring you back. You tell me."
"The Princess's matter is indeed a bit of a headache," Raizen scratched his head. "But why were you the one ordered to fetch me?"
Guy sighed in annoyance. "The Daimyo's special envoy went to Lord Third and demanded protection for Her Highness. Kakashi and I were chosen to be her personal guards. She cornered us at your house, got your location out of Sasuke, and sent me here to drag you back."
Guy spoke truthfully. In his eyes, this was just a lover's spat, so there was no need for secrecy. "I really envy you, kid. Even Princess Tsukihime, the number one beauty in the Land of Fire, is in your pocket." Guy looked at Raizen with pure envy. This man had a household full of wives and concubines, while Guy was still a lone wolf. It was tragic!
"You'll have your turn, Guy. Don't envy me," Raizen patted his shoulder.
Guy looked a bit depressed. "Raizen, this look you gave me... I don't feel like it's working. People used to call me dorky; now they just laugh at my bald head."
Raizen smiled. "Many women like strong men. There's a saying: the balder you are, the stronger you get. This bald head is a symbol of your power."
Guy's eyes widened. "Is that really a thing? How come I've never heard of it?"
"It doesn't matter if you've heard it. Just remember the truth: with baldness comes power. You will become the greatest Taijutsu master, and then beautiful girls will flock to admire your shiny head."
Years later, when Madara Uchiha acknowledged Might Guy as the strongest in Taijutsu, Guy would sigh in admiration: Raizen was right. I followed his advice, stayed bald, and almost kicked Six Paths Madara into oblivion.
"Really?" Guy's eyes lit up with renewed vigor.
"Of course! Would I lie to you?" Raizen laughed. "Seeing you so motivated makes me feel better. But about the Princess... how do you plan to settle it? Kakashi and I are stuck in the middle, and it's awkward."
"It is tricky," Raizen mused. "But there is one direct solution."
"What is it?" Guy asked curiously.
Raizen adopted a look of martyrdom. "At this point, I have no choice but to sacrifice my physical charms to solve this!"
"Sacrifice your charms?" Guy's eyes nearly popped out.
Raizen said solemnly, "Sometimes, 'bedding' a woman is a far more effective way to persuade her than just talking."
Guy couldn't think of words to praise him. He simply gave Raizen a massive thumbs-up. "The tea is finished. Let's go."
Since he had a plan, Raizen stopped hiding. They soon returned to the Uchiha compound.
Walking into the courtyard, they saw the stunningly beautiful Princess playing with one of the infants.
Cough!
Guy cleared his throat. "Princess, Uchiha Raizen has been captured and brought back."
Tsukihime handed the baby back to Momoko and walked up to Raizen, her face dark. "Stopped running, have we?"
"I wasn't running," Raizen said calmly. To deal with a proud, tsundere woman like a Princess, one must never show weakness. "I just had urgent business to attend to."
Tsukihime sneered. "How laughable. You were scurrying away like a rat with your tail between your legs, and now you're acting tough? If I hadn't held back, I would have broken your legs already."
Raizen looked her in the eye. "Tsukihime, it was my fault for forgetting the date to escort you from the Capital. I apologize. If you want to break the engagement or want compensation, just say the word. If it's within my power, I will grant it."
Tsukihime ignored his apology. "Duel me, Uchiha Raizen. If you win, I'll let this matter go. If you lose, you will kneel before me for an entire day."
She had read Raizen's file; he was listed as having only Genin-level strength. With her skills, she didn't believe she could lose to a Genin.
"Is there no other way?" Raizen asked. He really didn't want to expose his strength in Konoha, especially with experts like Kakashi and Guy watching. They would analyze his every move.
"No other choice. If you're a man, duel me," Tsukihime drew her katana and pointed it at him. "My husband cannot be a weakling who can't even defeat me. The Uchiha were a legendary clan in this nation; don't disappoint me, Raizen."
"Fine, have it your way," Raizen's gaze sharpened, his expression turning serious.
Kakashi's eyes narrowed. Finally... will I see Uchiha Raizen's true strength? As Itachi's uncle, Kakashi didn't believe for a second that Raizen was just a Genin.
"Let's go to the lake," Raizen suggested. He had thought of a way to win without revealing too much. Tsukihime was a samurai; she almost certainly couldn't walk on water. Once they were on the lake, she would be at his mercy.
"Smiling so happily? You'll be crying soon," Tsukihime said haughtily. "Lead the way."
They arrived at the lake within the compound. The small audience stood at a distance, watching intently.
"Draw your weapon, Raizen," Tsukihime stood by the shore, shifting into a high-level drawing stance.
Seeing the battle was about to begin, Kakashi silently lifted his forehead protector, revealing his Three-Tomoe Sharingan.
