Chapter 81 - Might Guy and Asuma’s "Little Shop" Adventure

Ino Yamanaka's face was beet-red, looking as if she wanted to find a crack in the floor to crawl into and hide forever.

"Hahaha!" Inoichi Yamanaka laughed heartily at his daughter's crimson face. "Don't be afraid, Ino! If you like him, you like him! There's no need to be shy. Dad supports you 100%!"

"Alright, alright, stop teasing her. If you say any more, Ino is going to crawl under the table," Shikaku Nara chuckled.

"Let's drink! To be honest, this alcohol at the Uchiha banquet is way better than the sake you find on the market. This is top-tier stuff. Drink up!"

"Mhm, mhm!" Choza Akimichi nodded in vigorous agreement. Indeed, the liquor served at this feast was far superior to anything sold in local taverns.

"Cheers!"

"Tonight, no one goes home sober!"

"Hahaha!"

On the other side of the hall.

Might Guy looked at Kakashi and asked, "Kakashi, aren't you going to take off your mask to drink?"

Kakashi gave a closed-eye smile. "My hand speed is fast enough. I don't need to."

Guy found Kakashi's response dull and turned to Asuma instead. "Asuma! Let's clink glasses! Tonight, we drink until we drop!"

"Fine," Asuma nodded, his heart heavy. Perhaps getting completely wasted was the only way to numb the sorrow lingering in his chest.

"Bottoms up!"

"Another one! Down it!"

Guy and Asuma clinked glasses repeatedly, draining them in one go. Kakashi joined in occasionally, taking small, measured sips.

The banquet ended.

Might Guy and Asuma leaned on each other for support, wobbling unsteadily as they left the Uchiha compound. Kakashi followed behind them, casually reading his book.

Whether by pure chance or some subconscious pull, the two drunks eventually stumbled into a secluded, shadowy street. On either side, several "sisters" in rather sparse and tattered clothing stood waiting, looking quite... succulent.

Kakashi frowned. He had been so engrossed in his book that he'd simply followed their lead without paying attention to the surroundings. By the time he looked up, Asuma and Guy were already being pulled into a small shop by several glamorous women.

A tall, leggy woman noticed Kakashi. She sashayed over with a feline grace, flaunting her charms. Lifting her skirt slightly to reveal pale skin, she blew Kakashi a kiss and purred, "Master Ninja, care to come in and play?"

"I've mastered eighteen different 'martial arts'—I guarantee a full-service experience that'll leave you satisfied."

"Come on, Master Ninja... let me serve you well."

Kakashi's pupils narrowed. His body shifted slightly, but he stopped just before the woman reached him. "Sorry," he said flatly. "I'm not into that."

With a Shunshin, he vanished.

Reappearing at a street corner far away, Kakashi wiped the sweat from his brow. "That was close. Almost got caught by the lure of those long legs."

"With no woman in the heart, the blade strikes with divine art. As the war god of the Hatake clan, how could I, Kakashi, succumb to feminine wiles?"

"My right hand is still the most reliable. It trains my hand signs and relieves stress. Two birds, one stone."

He glanced back at the alleyway and sighed. As for Asuma and Guy? They were on their own. But they were powerful shinobi; they'd be fine. He decided to head home and "train" his right hand some more.

The next morning.

Might Guy and Asuma emerged from separate rooms, only to run right into each other at the shop's entrance.

The two stared at each other, eyes wide, both radiating waves of awkwardness.

"Asuma? Why are you here?" Guy asked, scratching his head.

Asuma stared back. "You're asking me? I wanted to ask YOU! Why are you here?"

"I only remember us drinking together," Guy said. "Then we left together... and when I woke up, I was in there."

"Same here," Asuma muttered.

"Where's Kakashi?" Guy suddenly remembered Kakashi had been with them. He looked around the room but saw no sign of the silver-haired ninja.

"Handsome, stop looking. You haven't paid yet!" A beautiful woman with disheveled clothes stepped up to Guy, her hand outstretched.

"Pay?" Guy was confused.

"Hey, handsome, you trying to dine and dash?" she snapped. "You had such a blast last night, and now you wake up and want to skip the bill? You think you can just bully us poor girls like that?"

"If you don't pay, I'll have the Boss take this all the way to the Hokage!"

Guy rubbed the back of his neck. "Uh, please excuse me... what exactly did I do last night? I was so drunk I don't remember a thing."

The woman leaned into Guy's ear. "You did that to me, silly! You were so fast... I had to accompany you several times! You heartless man!"

Guy's face turned instant crimson. It clicked. No wonder his whole body felt exhausted and his back was aching!

"I'm sorry! I'll pay! How much?"

"Ten thousand Ryo per round," the woman said. "You went six times last night. Since you were so 'fast,' I'll give you a discount. Just give me fifty thousand."

Guy paid immediately, his face burning. Thank goodness no one he knew was around, or everyone would know he was a "fast shooter." He handed over the cash to settle the matter as quickly as possible.

"Your turn, handsome," another woman walked up to Asuma, smiling sweetly.

"I... I have to pay too?" Asuma stammered.

"Duh! Why else would you be here?" she rolled her eyes.

"H-How much?"

"Since you were even faster than that other guy, fifty thousand is fine for you too," the woman said.

Asuma paid in a panicked rush. He and Guy practically sprinted away from the shop, faces glowing red.

"Asuma... I never would have guessed," Guy sighed once they were a safe distance away, patting Asuma's shoulder. "You're even faster than me!"

"I-I-I..." Asuma's face was bursting. He never imagined he'd lose his virginity in a place like that. He wanted to argue that it was his first time—and of course, the first time is fast—but he was in his twenties. Admitting he was a virgin at that age was even more embarrassing.

"Guy... I need you to keep this a secret."

"Just between us."

Guy nodded. "I got you, Asuma. Don't worry! I won't say a word. I won't let your image be tarnished."

"You're still the Great Son of the Hokage to me."

"That's not what I mean! I just don't want people thinking I'm some lecherous pervert," Asuma grumbled. "This was a total accident. It'll never happen again."

"See ya later, Guy." Asuma hurried off, disappearing into the morning mist.

Guy sighed, holding his sore lower back as he hobbled away.

"Yo, Guy! Where's Asuma?"

Kakashi suddenly appeared in front of him, greeting him with a wave. Guy jumped back in shock.

"Kakashi! How did you know I was here?"

"I saw you and Asuma being dragged into that shop by those 'beauties' last night," Kakashi said calmly.

"So you were there?! Why weren't you dragged in?"

"Hahaha, well... naturally, because I wasn't drunk."

"Then why didn't you stop us?!"

"Hahaha... I was so engrossed in my book I didn't notice until you were already inside. And Guy, you know me... I'm a man of pure virtue. I wouldn't enter a place like that."

"So..."

"Kakashi, you traitor! I... I...!"
