This time, Raizen used the Flying Thunder God to blink directly into the private chambers he shared with Tsukishime at the Daimyō's estate.
"Papa! Papa is here!!!"
The moment he appeared, two little figures scrambled over in excitement, clinging to his legs.
"Papa, we missed you so much!!!"
"Hahaha! I missed you too!" Raizen laughed, scooping up both children in his arms.
"Raizen-kun," Tsukishime walked over, her eyes shimmering with affection.
Raizen winked at her. "My beautiful Princess, did you miss me?"
"Of course I did!" Tsukishime replied, her face flushing a delicate pink.
"You've arrived! My wonderful son-in-law!" A refined, middle-aged woman—the Daimyō's wife—stepped into the room, greeting Raizen with a warm smile.
"Greetings, Mother-in-law," Raizen said, giving a respectful nod.
"Let's have a meal before you head out. I've already had the servants prepare a feast," she said.
"That sounds perfect. Lead the way, Mother-in-law."
Gifts for the In-Laws
At the banquet, Raizen sat with the Daimyō of the Land of Fire, his father-in-law.
"Father-in-law, a toast to you." Raizen proactively raised his glass.
"Mhm." The Daimyō nodded slightly, clinking glasses with Raizen.
"Father-in-law, I have a special gift for you." Raizen had recently spotted a specific item in the System Shop. He didn't need it himself, but he figured it would be perfect for his "cheap" father-in-law.
"Oh? What is it, my boy?" the Daimyō asked, intrigued.
"This right here." Raizen feigned reaching into his pocket and placed a small vial on the table.
The Daimyō looked at the bottle, confused. "This is...?"
Raizen leaned in and whispered a few choice words into the Daimyō's ear.
The Daimyō's eyes instantly lit up. Restoring youthful vigor? Reclaiming his prime? He couldn't help but glance at his wife with a sudden, burning intensity.
The Daimyō's wife blinked in surprise. "What's wrong? Is there something on my face?"
"No flowers, Grandma! Your face is very clean!" little Sen'na Uchiha piped up from the side.
"Mother-in-law, I have something for you as well!" Raizen produced two bottles of Papaya Nutritional Juice and set them before her.
"And what are these?" she asked, delighted to be included.
"Mother, these are amazing!" Tsukishime cut in before Raizen could answer. "Each bottle is worth a million Ryō! Drink them, and you'll regain the vitality and beauty of an eighteen-year-old!"
"What? Is that true, Raizen?" The woman stared at him, eyes wide with disbelief.
Raizen nodded. "It is indeed true."
"Then I shall gladly accept! Thank you, Raizen!" She tucked the bottles away excitedly.
"We are family; there's no need for thanks," Raizen smiled.
The Daimyō pocketed his own treasure and stood up. "Let's finish eating! We need Raizen to get us to Konoha quickly, or we'll miss the start of the exams!"
The "Busy" Daimyō
After lunch, Raizen used multiple jumps to transport everyone to the Uchiha district. While his mother-in-law stayed at the estate, the Daimyō and his retinue headed to his official residence within Konoha.
Under Tsukishime's guidance, the Daimyō's wife drank the juice and—much to her joy—transformed back into the likeness of a blooming eighteen-year-old girl. When the Daimyō saw her, he froze. Once he confirmed it was indeed his wife, he immediately downed the vial Raizen had given him.
"My lady... we haven't been 'close' in a long time. Tonight, let us be very close indeed!!!" The Daimyō's gaze was predatory.
"My Lord, you...?" She was stunned. Her husband hadn't been "functional" since the birth of Tsukishime. Was it her restored beauty that triggered him?
"Our son-in-law gave me the 'good stuff' to restore my manhood! It's getting late, my lady. Let's rest early!!"
Sarutobi's Envy
Hiruzen Sarutobi was pacing. "Is the Daimyō still not out? It's been days!!! We're just waiting for him to announce the start of the exams!!"
For several days, Hiruzen had been turned away at the door of the Daimyō's residence, leaving him incredibly frustrated. Normally, he could just start the exams himself, but since the Daimyō was physically present in the village, etiquette demanded the Lord make the announcement.
"The Daimyō is still unavailable," the guard said. "Please be patient, Hokage-sama."
"I'm dying of anxiety here!" Hiruzen sighed deeply.
Just then, the doors swung open, and the Daimyō stepped out, looking incredibly refreshed—downright glowing.
"Ah, Hiruzen! You're here!" the Daimyō said airily.
"Daimyō-sama! You've finally appeared! The Chunin Exams are waiting for your word!!" Hiruzen bowed slightly.
The Daimyō, knowing he had been a bit too "distracted" by his newly restored vitality, looked slightly apologetic. "Yes, yes. I know. Let's go immediately!!"
On the way to the arena, Hiruzen couldn't contain his curiosity. "Daimyō-sama... what have you been doing these past few days? You didn't leave your room once."
"Ahem!" The Daimyō coughed into his hand, then leaned toward Hiruzen. "My son-in-law gave me a miracle cure to restore my 'manly vigor.' It's been years since I... well, you know. I got a bit carried away. Sorry, Hiruzen."
Restore manly vigor? Hiruzen's eyes nearly bulged out of his head. An embarrassed expression crossed his old face. "Daimyō-sama... what kind of medicine was it? Could you... perhaps spare a little for this old man?"
The Daimyō gave Hiruzen a knowing, half-amused look. "Ah, sorry Hiruzen. It was just one small bottle, and I drank it all. If you want some, you'll have to ask Raizen yourself!!!"
Hiruzen's face turned bright red. "Raizen? Right. I'll go find him as soon as I finish the opening ceremony."
As a legendary "pervert" (in spirit), being "incapable" was his greatest regret. Seeing the Daimyō's state gave Hiruzen a sudden, surging hope for his own "re-emergence"!!
There were so many "lost sisters" in the red-light district... as the Hokage, if he didn't go and "save" them, how could he live up to his title? He was a man of responsibility; he had to help them lead "joyful" lives.
After a surprisingly brief opening speech, Hiruzen practically sprinted away.
"Asuma, what's up with your old man today?" Might Guy asked, watching the Hokage's retreating back in confusion. "Usually he'd talk for the whole morning until everyone fell asleep."
"How should I know?" Asuma replied. "Forget him! Guy, while we have some free time, let's go 'save' some sisters!"
"I heard the shop got some new girls with incredibly long legs. I've decided—I'm going to save those long legs today."
"New long legs?" Guy's eyes widened to the size of dinner plates.
"Go, go, go! What are we waiting for? Let's go save them immediately!!"
