Rhain uncorked the jade bottle.
With a slight tilt, a pale-blue pill rolled into his palm. It emitted a faint, cooling mist and a soothing medicinal fragrance.
The Ashvele envoy sneered, his arms crossed over his chest. "Take a good look, boy. That is a pinnacle Uncommon-Grade pill, refined flawlessly by our clan's elite alchemists. There is not a single trace of impurity in it. I dare you to find this so-called poison."
Rhain didn't even look at him. His dark grey eyes simply locked onto the pale-blue pill.
"A brilliant guise," Rhain soliloquized, "If one were to look at this with ordinary eyes, they would only see a meticulously crafted elixir. But to me, this is nothing more than a meticulously crafted murder."
He raised his head to look at Aurelian who eyed him with suspicious gaze.
