"Now that I think about it, we strayed from the subject and never actually set a deadline." I sighed, leaning back in my chair. "Next time, I'll have to ask her. I need to know the timeline so I can figure out my next move." I realised then that my own lunch hour had vanished into thin air. I'd have to try and grab a few bites while working. Even so, I didn't regret a single second of it. Miss Burry's presence had been incredibly pleasant. Setting an unnecessarily long meeting time had been a stroke of genius.
