"No problem. Get home safely." Ruben nodded, already on it as I turned away. I marched toward the exit, completely ignoring Alex's presence since I wasn't in the mood for any of his sh*t.
"Oh, wait! Xav, wait for me!"
"F*ck off, don't touch me." I shoved his hand away as he reached for my arm, not slowing my pace for a single second.
"Why? We met by chance," he crooned, trying to sound charming as he followed me out. "Why don't we smooth things out and—"
"Alex. I don't like you." I turned back and pushed him hard the second time he tried to lay a hand on me. "I won't get it up for you either. Have some dignity and stop bothering me. F*ck somebody who cares, because I really don't." The patience I had was over with, and this wasn't the office. As long as he provoked me, I wouldn't show him any mercy. "Go hook up with a trash can if you want, but leave me the hell alone."
He made a half-hearted attempt to follow me after that, but he probably realised it wasn't a good idea.
