Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Fukasaku and Shima

As Fukasaku and Shima were speaking, the Yatagarasu directly took out the Totsuka Sword and the Yata Mirror and offered them up with both claws.

"Oh?"

Arisu slightly raised his eyebrow, the corner of his mouth lifting.

"Good! Good! Good!"

"This immortal is very pleased, truly pleased!"

Arisu took the Totsuka Sword and examined it carefully.

He instantly understood in his heart, could it be that Uchiha Itachi's Totsuka Sword divine weapon was obtained from here?

Thinking about how Uchiha Itachi signed a contract with crows.

And crows do not hold an ordinary position in Japanese mythology.

Everything seemed to connect together.

"Hehe, as long as the Immortal likes it."

The Yatagarasu forced a smile.

"Wonderful, wonderful... good sword, good sword..."

However, Arisu's eyes suddenly darkened.

The next second...

"Whoosh!!!"

With lightning speed that no one could react to, Arisu suddenly thrust the Totsuka Sword straight toward the Yatagarasu...

"Pfft!"

"Immortal!!!"

Caught completely off guard, the Yatagarasu was pierced through, its pupils wide in disbelief as it stared at Arisu.

Arisu's gaze was as cold as frost.

'Did you really think I didn't see through you?'

'My killing intent sensing has been going off nonstop, and you still treat me like some kind of fool?'

'Daring to assassinate me, you've really chosen a dead end.'

'You already have the path of death before you!'

'Originally, this immortal only planned to learn the Sage Arts and leave, and would not interfere with you. Yet you actually tried to assassinate me?'

'Then don't blame me for being ruthless. Better you die than me.'

Arisu might seem gentle, but when he truly kills, he does not show mercy at all.

The reason Arisu has lived so long is one, he sees things clearly, and two, he prevents trouble before it happens. He never gives potential threats a chance to grow.

"No!!!!"

The Yatagarasu let out a furious roar.

Immediately after, its body was sucked into the Totsuka Sword and completely sealed.

"Looks like it's the real thing...", Arisu nodded in satisfaction while looking at the Totsuka Sword.

'Looks like this Totsuka Sword is genuine.'

Arisu slowly walked out from the Yatagarasu's territory.

"Arisu, how did it go?", The White Ape King quickly stepped forward, his tone full of concern.

Arisu's expression was solemn, a trace of seriousness between his brows.

"This place is extremely evil. The hidden danger has been removed."

"To prevent future generations from accidentally entering and losing their lives, I plan to completely destroy this place. What do you think?"

"Good! I was thinking the same!", The White Ape King nodded immediately.

If humans accidentally stepped into such a deadly place, there would be no chance of survival. Destroying it was the safest choice.

"Mm."

As his voice fell, violent lightning surged in Arisu's palm. Purple electricity danced wildly like dragons and snakes, tearing through the surrounding air.

"Sage Art: Lightning Release, Kirin!"

With a deep shout that shook the heavens and earth, a brilliant thunder Kirin, radiating overwhelming pressure, crashed down from the sky.

BOOM!

Amid exploding lightning, the Yatagarasu's territory was instantly flattened, not a single inch left intact. Only scorched ruins and lingering lightning remained.

"White Ape King, I will take my leave.", Arisu withdrew his Sage Art, his aura settling slightly, and cupped his hands in farewell.

"Wait, Arisu..."

"When will we meet again?", The White Ape King stepped forward, a trace of complex reluctance hidden in his tone.

Arisu paused slightly, pondered for a moment, then slowly spoke, "Perhaps a hundred years from now. From now on, I will stay in Mount Myoboku to cultivate. The troubles of the human world have nothing to do with me."

'With Hagoromo there, nothing will happen.'

'There is no need for me to meddle anymore.'

'The next time I appear, it may be when Indra or Asura comes.'

'Those two are also hidden threads that run through Naruto.'

Arisu already had a plan in mind.

From now on, he would focus on Mount Myoboku and study the fusion path of the five great Sage Arts of Mount Myoboku, Ryuchi Cave, Shikkotsu Forest, Enma, and Yatagarasu.

If he could merge the five great Sage Arts into one, perhaps he could break through the Six Paths realm, free himself from the system's restraints, and step into a higher level.

Being stuck at Super Kage level, although invincible, would still be troublesome if an Otsutsuki appeared.

Being stuck at Super Kage level felt like stopping right at the edge.

"Sigh, so be it.", The White Ape King let out a soft sigh.

Watching Arisu's figure, a trace of sadness passed through his eyes. Time passes quickly. Once parted, it may be a long stretch of years.

"Farewell!"

"Sage Art: Sage Mist Body Flicker."

Along with a light mist, Arisu disappeared.

———

Arisu directly appeared in the Grand Hall.

As soon as he arrived, he paused slightly, sensing something was off, then walked toward the side hall.

It was the hall where the Sage Art scrolls were stored.

Inside were all kinds of Sage Arts created by Arisu, from Mount Myoboku, from Shikkotsu Forest, from Ryuchi Cave, and also a series of ordinary ninjutsu without hand seals.

The moment Arisu's figure solidified in the Immortal Grand Hall, the Sage Chakra around him sharply caught a faint fluctuation of aura coming from the side hall.

Soft whispers became clearer in his ears, carrying the nervousness and luck unique to young toads.

"Is this really okay? If the Great Immortal, no, if the Grandmaster finds out, the consequences will be terrible...", A slightly timid male toad voice sounded, full of unease.

"What are you afraid of? We're just taking a look, secretly learning one or two basic Sage Arts. The Grandmaster has always been kind. At most he'll make us copy the Mount Myoboku rules a few times. He won't punish us heavily!"

Another slightly braver female toad voice quickly comforted him, though a hint of guilt was hidden in her tone.

Arisu pushed the door open quietly. The scene inside came fully into view.

Tall scroll shelves were layered one upon another, countless scrolls recording Sage Arts and ninjutsu arranged neatly.

And in the lowest corner of the shelf, two palm sized young toads were squeezed together, their heads close over an open Sage Art scroll.

Their little claws pointed at the patterns on it, studying with full concentration, completely unaware of the person behind them.

"You two, what are you looking for?", Arisu spoke calmly, his voice echoing lightly in the empty hall.

The two young toads stiffened, as if frozen by a spell. When they slowly turned around, their round toad eyes widened, their faces filled with shock and fear.

"Ah!? Grandmaster!"

"Great Immortal Sir, s-s-sorry!"

They almost instantly jumped away from the scroll, hurriedly kneeling on the stone floor, burying their little heads low, not even daring to breathe loudly.

"So you were secretly reading scrolls."

Arisu looked at their trembling forms, his gaze sweeping over the open scroll, instantly understanding everything.

These two little toads had secretly slipped into the Sage Art Hall, attempting to learn Sage Arts on their own.

"Grandmaster, we were wrong! Please forgive us!"

The two young toads begged in unison, their voices trembling as if about to cry, clearly terrified of punishment.

Arisu did not get angry. He simply asked calmly, "You two, what are your names?"

Arisu was not angry.

It was normal for young toads to crave Sage Arts. Though sneaking into the hall was wrong, it did not deserve severe punishment.

They were right just now. He was indeed easy to talk to.

At most, as they said, they would just copy the Mount Myoboku rules.

"M-My name is Fukasaku.", The male toad reported his name while trembling.

"My name is Shima.", The female toad followed softly, her voice as thin as a mosquito.

Hearing these two names, Arisu slightly raised his eyebrow, a hint of surprise in his heart.

So it was Fukasaku and Shima, the two great sages of Mount Myoboku in the future. Who would have thought that they were still such clueless young toads now.

Thinking about the timing, it made sense that they were born around now.

Arisu's gaze fell back onto the open Sage Art scroll. On the cover were clearly written the words "Sage Art: Goemon."

"You've been looking for so long. Have you learned it?", Arisu asked casually.

Fukasaku and Shima looked at each other, both seeing confusion in the other's eyes.

The two toads shook their heads together.

"Reporting to Grandmaster, we've looked for a long time, but the patterns on the scroll are too hard to understand. As for the flow of Sage Chakra, we have no clue at all. We simply can't learn it."

Arisu laughed inwardly. 'Of course they couldn't learn it.'

'If they could, that would make them geniuses.'

At this time, the ninja world had not yet developed the method of hand seals. The release of Sage Arts and ninjutsu relied entirely on instinctive control of chakra and mental guidance.

With their current level, they simply could not handle a complex technique like Sage Art: Goemon.

They could only learn it through hand seals.

"You haven't learned hand seals yet, so naturally you cannot activate such a Sage Art.", Arisu explained calmly.

"Hand seals?", Fukasaku raised his head, his face full of confusion.

"Grandmaster, what are hand seals?", Shima blinked her eyes as well, full of curiosity and puzzlement. Clearly she had never heard of this term.

Arisu did not explain further. He waved his hand, "I will teach you about that later."

"For now, go to Gamamaru and receive two copies of the Mount Myoboku rules. Each of you will copy them three hundred times."

"Until you finish, you are not allowed to step into the Sage Art Hall even half a step.", Arisu said calmly.

Hearing that they only had to copy the rules, rather than clean all of Mount Myoboku or be confined to harsh training, Fukasaku and Shima immediately relaxed.

"Thank you for your mercy, Grandmaster!"

The two toads bowed respectfully.

After bowing, the two young toads quickly hopped away from the Immortal Grand Hall.

Arisu stood alone in the hall full of scrolls.

"Hand seals..."

He lightly rubbed his chin with his fingertip, falling into deep thought.

At this time, Indra had not yet been born in the ninja world, let alone created the method of hand seals.

Since that was the case, why not create the method of hand seals himself in advance?

Creating hand seals was not difficult.

Once the method of hand seals was implemented in Mount Myoboku, it would not only allow the toad clan to master Sage Arts and ninjutsu more quickly, but also push Mount Myoboku's strength to a new level, staying ahead in the ninja world.
