Yuji had to buy a new place to stay because Power wasn't satisfied with the fact that he had loads of money yet didn't bother spending it. Apparently, living in a cheap apartment wasn't something the "Great Power" had in mind.
At first, she seemed scared to say anything, as if afraid of retaliation. But when he openly told her to just state the problem, she didn't mind letting out how she felt—though she said it in a strangely formal way, and with much less yelling than usual.
"Hey. Hey! Are you listening to me!?" Power asked. She was currently stuffing her face with the raw meat he had just bought, blood and raw fat smearing her face as she chewed.
"Yeah, I hear ya. What is it?" Yuji asked, sitting across from her while looking at his phone.
"Do you think you can get my cat back for me? His name is Meowy, and some stinky devil took him. Of course, I'm strong enough to get him back with no problem, but he's using my Meowy as a hostage!" Power said as she finished eating.
"Sure thing. But in exchange, you have to stop using padding on your breasts," Yuji said.
Power huffed. "Why should I? They're wonderful items that make my chest bigger! They make me even more beautiful!" she declared, grabbing her chest with a proud expression.
"I like it better without them. So get rid of them, or I'll kill the cat myself," Yuji deadpanned.
Power frowned. "Fine! But only if you get Meowy back!"
"Alright then. Lead the way."
A little while later, Yuji and Power stepped off a bus far from their house. On an empty hill, a solitary house stood quietly. Yuji could already sense the Bat Devil's presence; as they walked closer, he could also feel Power tensing up repeatedly, as if preparing for something.
Suddenly, she manifested a hammer and tried to knock Yuji out to fulfill her deal with the Bat Devil and get Meowy back. Although she felt a strong power radiating from Yuji, she assumed it was due to a contract with a powerful Devil. She figured if she could knock him out here, he'd never get the chance to use it.
Yuji, however, saw her movements in slow motion. He appeared behind her instantly, casually hugging her from behind to pin her arms.
"That's not nice, Power..." Yuji murmured. He touched her chest without much care while her arm was still extended from the swinging motion.
"Huh?" Power finally caught up with reality as her hammer passed through an afterimage of where Yuji had just been.

"Hey! Let me go, human!" Power began to flail in his arms. He let her go and kept walking toward the house.
"Let's go get the cat. I'm in a great mood now," Yuji said. Power stood stunned that he would still help after her blatant betrayal.
Running to catch up, she didn't try to attack him again. Although she would never admit it, she hadn't even seen him move just now.
'He might be as creepy as that scary woman,' Power thought, following close behind him.
Upon entering the house, a gravelly voice echoed through the room.
"You made me wait for quite some time, Blood Devil... I thought you'd run away..." The Bat Devil sat hunched in the darkest corner of the house, his body brushing against the ceiling even while crouched.
"Y-yeah, I brought a human, just as you wished," Power said, though she wasn't even sure if Yuji qualified as human anymore.
"Let's get this over with," Yuji said.
Before another word could be uttered, the Bat Devil's head vanished into a fine, bloody mist. Thousands of microscopic Dismantles had shredded the creature's skull into nothingness in a fraction of a second.
The cage holding Meowy fell to the ground. Power stood frozen. What had even happened? There was no sound, no buildup, the Bat Devil had been sent back to Hell without even knowing he was dead.
Grabbing the cage and ripping it open with ease, Yuji retrieved Meowy and handed the cat to the stunned Fiend.
"Let's go, Power..." Yuji began to leave, and an absent-minded Power followed obediently behind him.
As they stepped out of the house, a familiar face came into view. Denji stood in front of the building holding a single-handed axe, stopping short when he saw Yuji.
"Hey! You're that disrespectful guy from Makima's office!" Denji barked, narrowing his eyes.
"You're one of Makima's dogs," Yuji replied, tilting his head.
"Shut up! Miss Makima sent me here to deal with a Bat Devil," Denji said, puffing out his chest and raising his axe. "Tell me, are you working with that devil? Did you hide it?"
Yuji didn't even slow his pace. "The Bat Devil is dead."
"Huh?" Denji blinked, looking past Yuji toward the house. "Dead? What do you mean dead? I don't see a body! Don't lie to me, I need to do something big so I can have a chance at touching Miss Makima's boobs!"
Desperate for his "reward," Denji charged forward, intending to push past Yuji to search the house. Yuji didn't even turn around; he just shifted his weight slightly, and as Denji swung his axe in a wide, clumsy arc, Yuji casually stuck out a foot.
Denji went flying, eating dirt and sliding several feet before coming to a stop.
"The Bat Devil is dead. You can find what's left of it inside," Yuji said, already walking away with Power in tow.
Yuji was thinking of something else as he walked. If Makima had sent Denji here despite Power never telling anyone about the Bat Devil, then Makima likely knew all along.
'Couldn't she watch people through rodents and birds or something?' Yuji scratched his head in thought.
Back at home, Power sat Meowy down and stared at Yuji, who was eating some food he'd picked up on the way back.
"Why did you help me after I betrayed you?" Power asked.
Yuji looked over at her, pointed his finger, and said a single word.
"Mine."
"I see..." Power didn't know why this strange guy was so fixated on her, but for now, it was better than being back at Public Safety with that creepy lady.
