Capital of the Kingdom of Makar, Sigra
All houses from House Elven to House Sabre and more appear in the capital of Makar as a war meeting is called after the recent attack from the South.
From House Sabre, Bernard's father and the now Head of House Sabre and brother of the Lady Victoria, Victor Sabre makes his presence known as he walks through the front gate of Sigra on his mount accompanied by others of House Sabre
Victor gets off his horse to greet his son who is there to greet his father
"Hello father" says Bernard
"I heard you got beat boy?!" replies his father
In shame Bernard looks
Through the front gates of Sigra rides the Head of House Swan, Gram. Known for it's heavy politics. Gram was runner up to serve as hand of the King to Magnus but came up short against the current hand Alvis of House Sabre whom is also the the uncle of the Lady Victoria
Guards at the front gate greet House Williams and finally the Head of House Elven Aelarion and his daughter Thalindra accompanied by other members of House Elven ride in through the front gates whom is greeted by The King himself, Magnus and the Kingsguard.
Aelarion gets off his mount and greets The King along with his daughter. Aelarion says "My grace, I'd like you to meet my daughter Thalindra."
"Ah so you are the future Queen regent of Makar, milady?" Replies Magnus as he introduces his Hier and oldest son to Thalindra. Both Thalindra and Masaru both glace at each other with looks of unfamiliarity yet lots of interest as two dove birds met their other half
"It's a pleasure to meet you, milady Thalindra." Says Masaru as he kisses her hand
Thalindra blushes
Magnus says "Shall we begin the War Council Aelarion, and discuss the issues with South, now the two have been properly introduced?"
Aelarion replies "Of course my King let's allow the two to get more acquainted." Masaru and Thalindra walk away together as Malakas accompanies his father Magnus and Aelarion to the Council.
In the Garen of Idun, Masaru and Thalindra talk about many things such as their life up until now and what their Houses expect of them and in doing so Masaru says one thing that speaks to Thalindra after she asked him "Masaru what is your dearest goal" in which he replies but smiles first "Well Thalindra to that I would have to say my dearest goal as you say would have to be to unite all of Kingdoms of Odal under Makar but it seems the only way in doing so is to conquer the South I've never been one to conquer with a ease mind but it seems there is no other way and negotiations with the South are far from our grasps now." She smiles then replies "It seems you have ambitious goals, Masaru" "That I do, milady." Masaru responds
The Council
Alvis says to everyone "I think we all know why we have gathered here today"
Gram of House Swan replies "So what you mean to tell us is we are at bloody War again with the South and all the proof you have to go off is a Jousting Tournament interruption"
Alvis says "Now it's been at least 20 years since the South attacked so I see your hesitation for war, Gram but we must take this seriously as the last war with the South devastated us all and stripped us of all ourb resources and it's taken us over 18 years to recover all off us and now that we are united under the North we must band together to face such a threat. The last time we fought the South we were also outnumbered with both the West and East under Makar we have a much better chance to combat the South's armies. In the meantime Magnus can deal with Cath and his Kingsguard and our other top House Representatives of Makar can handle Cath's generals."
"If I may, my King" says Victor of House Sabre
Waving his hand Magnus signals Victor to say his part
"My scouts have reported back to me since the South's attack 3 weeks ago they have managed to raise a even larger army, multiple divisions at that." Says Victor
Magnus slams his hand on the table "That settles it then. We use the time we have left to continue scouting the South so we know when they plan to move the attack and I mean around the clock monitoring from your scouts, Victor."
"Yes, my King" says Victor
"House Williams prepare your ships for the river and coast so we can cut off any water advantage attacks." Says Magnus to the Head of House Williams, Grendel and she nods her head
"Aelarion assemble your archers on high ground for an ambush attack when they enter our territory." Aelarion nods his head
"And in the meantime I will prepare my armies as well, but first I want to announce the marriage of Aelarion's daughter Thalindra and my son and Heir Masaru, which will take place in 6 days time."
Aelarion stands "Thank you my King my daughter and I have discussed and we humbly accept." Says Aelarion
Gram stands and says "During this time?!"
"Yes, is there issue Gram?" Replies Magnus
"Seem a little risky is all with the threat of the South looming" says Gram
"Leave the counter of risks to me, Gram." Says Magnus
Gram rolls his eyes
"This war council is through take your leave, my lords." Magnus tells everyone but Aelarion request a word with Magnus in private before taking his leave
In the South Kingdom Cath's Generals gather in his throne room
Introductions
Balor 3rd Rank General and possesses a Metnaðr in which allows him to transform into a powerful one-eyed monster of destruction.
Matchitehew 2nd Rank General, the evilest being to live
Bolverkr 1st Rank General, possesses the 2nd most power Metnaðr in the South
"My liege you requested our presence" says Bolverkr
"Yes! Your army divisions are almost complete, we set out for our next attack on Makar in 30 days time. Balor you will conquer the Capital of Lorien Doriath. Matchitehew and Bolverkr will conquer Sigra together."
"And what of their King, my liege?" Asked Balor
Cath responded "His head will be mine as well as the Kingdom of Makar! In the meantime, you three will handle Masaru, Malakas, and Fëanor. Which is why Balor you will attack Lorien Doriath and Matchitehew and Bolverkr will attack Makar with me. Now go ready and train your armies there will be no slack for we have all of Odal to Conquer in very due time"
Cath grins in sinister way
Back at Sigra
Masaru enters his father's chambers
"You wanted to speak to me father?" Says Masaru
"Yes, first how was your first meeting with your future Queen? Masaru replies "She is lovely father, is that really why you asked me here?" Magnus then replies "Good and no actually it's because I spoke with Aelarion before his departure back to Lorien Doriath. His daughter Thalindra wishes for you and her to have a place of your own, a place where you two are not under the microscope of the eyes and politics of Sigra and Lorien Doriath."
Masaru in response is a little shocked "I'd love to but am I not your Kingsguard father? How am I to do so from a distant castle?"
Magnus tells his son "You're spot in the Kingsgaurd would be taken by your brother but now is the time to learn how to rule in a lordship of your own until you take my place. Your service in the Kingsgaurd has been nothing short of great as you have protected this Kingdom not only in my absence but you have protected your mother, uncle and everyone in it. You have the best skills combat wise and with any weapon we have given and taught you but now is the time to see what type of Lord you can be. I need to see that you are fit to rule Masaru. What type of leader you will be? Show me you are ready because as of right now you're not and therefore I can't leave this Kingdom to you quite yet. Show me you're not just a warrior and commander of the Kingsguard. Show Odal that you're not just the man whom is so powerful with two of the rarest Metnaðr to exist. People fear a King whom is too powerful but has no care for his people. And the People of Makar don't want to be under the rule of a Tyrant like the South's King. Listen to me Masaru you must be better than even me. Let me show you something."
Masaru and his father walk down a secret pathway door entrance in Magnus's chamber
They enter a big room. The size of the world of Odal. Where Masaru sees a giant corpse of serpent taking up pretty much all of the space of this room he witnessed.
In shock Masaru's asked his father "What in the Helheim is this corpse father?!"
In response Magnus tells Masaru "Son this is the World Serpent's corpse, and one day it will bring back balance to our world and it will be up to you Masaru to ace this in motion! As I my Metnaðr does not have the ambition to make this happen only you can with the Metnaðr you possess son!"
