An hour later,Bella and Sophie walked into the club dressed in a sexy short red gown highlighting their curves, especially Bella's own. Bella did a little makeup which brought out her beauty. All men in the club were captivated by Bella's beauty and wanted her in their beds for the night. Some approached her but Bella wasnt interested in them at all as she was still trying to recover from the other day's ordeal, so she shunned them off right away and walked to the bar with her best friend, Sophie. They took their orders and started chatting.
"This is going to be a great night! I can already feel it" Sophie exclaimed happily
"Yeah lets just have fun okay?" Bella asked.
"Yeah" Sophie replied.
"So Bella what are your plans now?" Sphie asked
"I dont know Soph. But I already applied for a job in Raymontix Knights Enterprises. Bella replied while sipping her drink.
"Okay, nice decision. Just pray you get accepted, because that is the biggest firm in this country, and it takes connection and status, before one can work there" Sophie said
"Yeah" Bella said and sighed. The air was electric as Raymond strode into the club, his presence commanding attention.He steps through the club's heavy glass doors, the bass thumping like a heartbeat. The baggy dark‑wash denim sways with each easy stride, its raw edges catching a glint of neon. His white Loro Piana polo hugs just enough to show a toned chest, the subtle ribbing shimmering under the strobe lights. Around his neck, he wore a simple silver chain, as he moved through the crowd, the scent of his cologne, a bespoke blend by Djoum, wafted through the air, leaving a trail of pheromone charged allure in his wake. It was a scent that whispered promises of power, wealth, and seduction. A potent cocktail that left the ladies and some men swooning in his wake.
"Oh my God that's Raymond! Raymond,the billionaire tech mogul! He's even more gorgeous in person. I know right? He is so handsome. I've heard he got a different girl every night, but I dont blame them. He's worth it!" Sophie screamed out in excitement. Bella tried to appear nonchalant but her eyes kept drifting to him.
"God! He is the perfect definition of luxury. Just look at the men surrounding him all dressed in suits. God I wish I am his wife" Sophie said dreamily, making Bella roll her eyes and looked at Raymond, suddenly their gaze met and time seemed to freeze. His gaze was intense as if he was searching for something in her eyes.
"Girl, he's looking at you. You need to make a move" Sophie said to Bella
"Nope, I am good. I am not interested" Bella said sipping her drink. Her eyes betrayed her, locking onto Raymond's once more and she found out he was still looking at her. Finally her broke the gaze and turned to his bestfriend,Jason, heading to their table. Immediately they sat down. A bevy of ladies swooped in, vying for his attention, but he waved them off, his eyes never leaving never leaving Bella's face. Which made Bella uncomfortable.
****2 HOURS LATER****
As Bella and Sophie sipped their drinks, they chatted about the nights events. Sophie was buzzing with excitement, having just danced with Jason, Raymond's bestfriend.
"Soph I am telling you, I think I am done for the night. I'm getting tired, lets go home" Bella said
"Aww, c'mon on Bella, the night is still young. One more drink, and then we'll head home, I promise" Sophie replied
"Nope. You stay, have fun. I'll catch a ride home on an uber" Bella said packing up her stuffs.
"No way, I'll go with you. We came together, so we are leaving together" Sophie replied pouting. So they got up to leave. Same time on Raymond's table. Raymond stood up to use the restroom. As Bella and Sophie was heading she mistakenly bumped into someone. When she looked up she was greeted by a pair of familiar ocean eyes. Before she could utter an apology. Raymond vented all his anger on her.
"Cant you see where you are going?" asked Raymond which made Bella's eyes to widen as he continued to berate her, each word laced out with venom. She tried to defend herself but Raymond was relentlentless.
"You ladies are always so careless, barging into people like that" Bella's anger flared and she shot back.
"Well, excuse me for not watching where I was going. I didn't know I was in the presence of some royalty." Bella shot back sarcastically which made Raymond's face darken, as his eyes filled with rage and fury.
"You are just a slut, a who..." That was it, Bella couldn't take it anymore. Her hand flew connecting with Raymond's cheek in a resounding slap that echoed through the whole club.
The whole club fell silent, all eyes was on the pair. Jason's jaw dropped, his eyes wide with shock. Even Sophie wasn't left out. The feared CEO, the most richest and powerful man was slapped, by a tiny, ordinary woman. Nobody expected that.
