[Next Day - U.A. - Class 1A Homeroom]
Present Mic stood in front of the class with a small notebook in his hand while staring at the green chalkboard.
"Okay, then," the man with the sick outfit turned around to look at the students, "Which of these sentences is wrong?"
The Pro Hero asked as he gestured towards the board with his head.
'So normal...' Most of the class thought in unison as they stared in silence at their teacher.
'Boring.'
"Come on everybody! Heads u-" Present Mic paused as Metal's shiny frame caught his attention. The little machine was sitting straight with his head facing the chalkboard, but the distinctive red glow of his eyes was nowhere to be found.
'Did it run out of battery?' Present Mic thought as he looked towards Metal in confusion.
"Bakugo, would you mind checking on your classmate?"
"Huh?"
The ball of anger issues lifted one eyebrow at Present Mic's command before glancing behind him.
'Don't have to ask me twice.'
Bakugo spun his desk chair around to face Metal's desk.
"Wake the fuck up, you shiny freak!"
Metal didn't respond even to Bakugo's loud voice.
'Is this fucker ignoring me?!'
Bakugo extended his right hand with the intention of grabbing one of Metal's ears.
"I told you to wake u-"
Zap!
"Aghsasdfu!"
With that Metal's red lens finally turned on, The robot looked around the classroom to find everyone staring at him and the fuming Bakugo.
"ARE YOU MESSING WITH ME?!"
---
[Metal's POV]
"Did you do that on purpose?" Toru asked as she and Metal stepped out of the classroom before walking towards the cafeteria.
"Zapping Bakugo, duh."
"But how can your Quirk do something like that if not on purpose?"
"...Touché."
The unusual duo turned around a corner to continue on their way to the cafeteria. Some students stared at Metal in confusion before shaking their heads and going on their way.
"Uh-uh, and I'm Batman. By the way, were you really sleeping in class?"
"Oh, yeah? Then why do you have to attend, smart guy?"
"What does that even mean...?"
...
...
After a walking around in silence for a while, Metal and Toru arrived at the cafeteria. The big space was packed with students which made it hard to find and empty seat.
"Woah! This has to be the biggest cafeteria I've seen!"

[Toru's POV]
"Development Studio?..."
Toru read the sign above the entrance of the two heavy metallic doors.
"What are we doing here?"
'His mother is a staff member?'
With that Metal walked forward and pushed the doors as if they didn't weigh anything.
'I still wonder how someone so small can be so strong.' Toru shook her invisible head before stepping inside the workshop alongside Metal.
'This place is a mess.'
Toru's eyes moved all over the empty workshop. Crates filled with scraps and materials were scattered all over the place. Tools were discarded all over the floor while cables hung off the tables.
Clank, clank, clank.
Toru turned her head towards the direction of the sound.
Upon doing so her gaze landed on a girl with pink dreadlocks currently wearing a plain black tank top with workshop coveralls tied around her waist with white shoes.
The girl didn't seem to notice their arrival as she kept hammering a metal plate on top of a table.
'She looks a bit young to be a mother.' Toru turned her gaze towards Metal's small frame. 'A family trait?'
Metal called out, making the girl pause before turning around to look in their direction.
"Ah! Metal!" Hatsume quickly approached the little guy before tapping his head with the hammer.
"You won't believe how much stuff they have in here! It's an endless supply of materials!"
"B-B-But-"
"I don't like the ones they have here..."
Hatsume muttered as she put the tips of her index fingers together.
'Who is the child right now?' Toru thought as she looked between the two individuals.
"Shouldn't I be the one giving the orders?"
The taller female said as she put her free hand on her hip while looking down at Metal.
"Understood!"
Metal nodded slightly before speaking up again.
"Sure! What do you need? If it's new upgrades I have sooo many ideas read-"
Metal said as he pointed towards Toru's floating uniform, finally making Hatsume realize there was someone else in the workshop.
'D-Did he just tell on me?' Toru thought with amusement as an image of an even smaller Metal holding a lollipop while pointing at her came to mind.
"Who's the floating uniform?" Hatsume asked as she tilted her head to the left in confusion.
"Ah! I'm Toru Hagakure," Toru bowed down slightly before standing straight again. "I'm Metal's classmate. Nice to meet you, Ms. Hatsume."
"Metal?"
"Why is your classmate calling me 'Ms'? I'm barely about to turn sixteen."
'Wait what?'
"Hey! That's rude! I'm standing right here!" Toru said as the sleeves of her uniform moved up and down in protest.
"THAT'S WORSE!"
"Well it's only natural people can't comprehend my genius mind!"
Hatsume said with a smirk before swapping the hammer in her hand for a screwdriver from a nearby crate.
'What is she doing?' Toru asked herself as Hatsume crouched down in front of Metal.
Clank!
Toru gasped as Hatsume drove the screwdriver forward at the point where Metal's head connected with his circular torso.
"Aren't you hurting-"
Pop, hiss, thud.
"Him...."
Toru looked at Metal's headless body.
Wires peeked out from the spot where his head should have been, then the invisible girl looked down to see Metal's head rolling across the ground.
"Is that enough? I could take off an arm too if you want!"
Toru Hagakure fainted.
