Shiraishi Shin walked forward, saying, "Kamen Rider Cronus—remember this name, for it will be a nightmare you cannot forget even in your next life."
"I am Go-Gamego-Re. Let us have a proper battle."
The Gurongi is also known as a warrior race. They are extremely warlike and consider dying on the battlefield an honor. Even knowing the power of Kamen Rider Cronus, he would not retreat a single step, determined to fight to the last drop of blood!
With that said, the Turtle Gurongi mobilized his entire spirit and energy. With heavy steps that left footprints in the concrete, he arrived before Shiraishi Shin. Shiraishi Shin was in no hurry to strike; they stood only half a meter apart.
Suddenly, the Turtle Gurongi moved. His clenched fist lunged violently toward Shiraishi Shin's face. Shiraishi Shin stared directly at the fist inches away, but with a flick of his left hand, he swatted it away. The force of over a hundred tons acting on the Turtle Gurongi's arm sent it flying instantly.
The momentum of this force caused the Turtle Gurongi to stumble four steps to his right before barely managing to stop. Just as he stabilized himself and looked up, a fist the size of a sandbag expanded in his vision.
"Bang!"
A heavy impact resounded. The powerful shockwave blasted the surrounding rain away in an instant. The Turtle Gurongi was sent flying twenty meters, slamming into a wall and creating a human-shaped spiderweb of cracks before falling to the ground.
*Gulp* "So... so strong. He's on a completely different level from us!"
Shotaro Hidari, an outsider to the fight, watched this scene in shock. The Monster that had just been completely suppressing him was now being utterly toyed with by another Kamen Rider. This blow to his confidence was immense.
"Ugh..."
The Turtle Gurongi twitched on the ground a few times before bracing himself against the wall to stand up. Red blood flowed from his nose, and most of the serrated, saw-like teeth in his mouth had fallen out. Blood leaked from there as well, mixing with the rainwater on the ground.
Shiraishi Shin's punch had just depleted most of his health bar, leaving him severely wounded.
"Oh, you can still bleed? And it's red. Shouldn't a villain like you have black blood like an Amazon?"
Watching this, Shiraishi Shin thought about how the Gulang Tribe were similar to Amazons, except the Gulang Tribe were far stronger. Even a Gurongi from the weakest group could slaughter a swarm of Amazons.
Watching Shiraishi Shin approach slowly, the bright red on the inside of his waist armor was eye-catching. The Turtle Gurongi felt the meaning of true despair. Despair was not fearing death, but feeling terror toward a single person.
This was not someone he could handle; the gap was too large. His heart as a warrior had been shattered by that single punch.
"Wuaaaaah!!"
The Turtle Gurongi roared, casting aside his distractions and fear. He let out his loudest cry and used his last shred of strength to charge.
"The sight of you clinging to life yet refusing to admit defeat is truly hideous."
Shiraishi Shin effortlessly caught the Turtle Gurongi's desperate, willpower-infused punch. He twisted the opponent's fist, forcing the Turtle Gurongi to his knees.
Lowering his head, he looked down at the Monster kneeling before him through his green visors and said nonchalantly, "Despair, for this is the power of the God of Time, Cronus!"
Shiraishi Shin released his left hand and then pressed the B-button on his driver twice with his index finger.
[Kimewaza! Critical Crews-Aid!!]
As the sound effect rang out, light glowed within the visors. A golden clock appeared on the ground, and a massive amount of energy converged on his left foot. He stood in the center, while the Turtle Gurongi was positioned at the 12 o'clock (XII) mark.
He did not use Time Stop for this Finisher.
"Your time can only go this far. Be discontinued."
Having finished speaking, Shiraishi Shin slowly turned. The minute hand on the ground rotated counter-clockwise. In that instant, carrying the momentum of wind and thunder and infused with the power of lightning, he delivered a decisive half-turn kick to the Turtle Gurongi's head before turning his back to him.
[Final Strike!]
"Boom!"
A massive explosion resounded. The flames of the blast engulfed Shiraishi Shin as well, but this residual heat couldn't even serve as a warm-up for him.
After the flames dissipated, Shiraishi Shin glanced sideways at the other Rider nearby.
Kamen Rider W—he naturally knew him. This Rider's popularity was quite good.
He pulled out the Gashat. The heavy rain falling from the sky stopped abruptly. As he canceled his transformation, the Rider armor on his body vanished into green data.
The ground that had been flooded with water instantly became dry. The heavy rain just now seemed like an illusion.
"This... is this for real? It pours as soon as he transforms, and the moment he cancels it, the rain stops and the ground is dry. It's as if the rain just now was a total illusion."
Shotaro Hidari closed his w driver and then jogged over to Shiraishi Shin.
"Hey, who exactly are you?"
A school uniform?
Is this guy actually a student?
Shotaro Hidari walked up to Shiraishi Shin and froze when he noticed his clothes. This was a school uniform. In other words, this Kamen Rider who had just displayed an invincible posture was still a student. This was just too... Shiraishi Shin smiled at Shotaro Hidari and said, "Kamen Rider Cronus, Shiraishi Shin. And you?"
"Uh, I'm Shotaro Hidari, Kamen Rider W."
Shiraishi Shin's friendly face left Shotaro Hidari feeling a bit confused. Just a moment ago, when this guy was fighting the Monster, he had such a powerful presence, cold words and actions, and such arrogant speech.
Talking about 'clinging to life,' 'truly hideous,' and 'despair'—he had thought the other party was a cold, difficult-to-get-along-with type.
He hadn't expected the opposite. Despite possessing such strength, he wasn't arrogant or stuck-up; he was someone one could befriend.
The two found a place to sit. Shotaro Hidari spent some money to buy two bottles of Ramune, came over to Shiraishi Shin, and handed one over.
Shotaro Hidari held his own drink in his left hand and adjusted his hat with his right as he sat down. "Thanks for earlier. If it weren't for you, I'm not sure if I could have beaten that Monster."
Shiraishi Shin pressed down the marble in the bottle and replied, "You're being modest. We're both Kamen Riders. You probably still had moves you hadn't used yet. Never giving up until the end and never running away—isn't that exactly our Rider Spirit?"
"Rider Spirit?"
Shotaro Hidari's heart jolted. These four simple words gave him a sense of being drawn in from the bottom of his heart. Rider Spirit. Kamen Rider Spirit. Never giving up until the end, and never running away.
Yeah, that's a Kamen Rider. Charging forward in the face of danger, moving against the crowd, doing what ordinary people cannot do—all for the sake of protection!
