"Shin, I'm going to fight too!"
Okada Yuriko had already changed into her Denpa Ningen outfit as she spoke. She couldn't let that old man steal the spotlight; she had trained for over a decade precisely for moments like this.
"Denpa Ningen Takkuru, entering the fray!"
With that, Okada Yuriko stepped forward to assist Tanzaburo Tojima. She got behind the Toad Amazon, grabbed its arm, and threw it over her shoulder.
"Nani?! There's another expert?!"
The Toad Amazon, who had been using its tongue to slam Tanzaburo Tojima around, hadn't expected anyone else from the trio to charge in—especially not a woman.
"Denpa Throw! Haaaah!"
Okada Yuriko shouted as she slammed it down hard. Taking advantage of the opening, Tanzaburo Tojima untangled the tongue from his leg. Those few slams just now made him feel like his bones were about to crack; if not for his superior physical fitness, an ordinary person would already be in the ICU.
He was still able to move, however. He leaped up to execute the Rider Kick he hadn't been able to finish earlier.
Shiraishi Shin knew the opportunity was too good to miss. At the same time, he sprinted forward and leaped with all his might to deliver a physical kick.
The two delivered a double flying kick simultaneously, striking the Toad Amazon just as it was struggling to stand. They kicked it right into the concrete, shattering the pavement and leaving a small crater.
Furthermore, Shiraishi Shin aimed specifically for the Amazon's heart, as that was their weak point.
Although Shiraishi Shin wasn't as burly or muscular as Tanzaburo Tojima, the explosive power contained within his body was extraordinary. His physical constitution far surpassed that of an ordinary person; after all, people are different—not just in appearance, but from the inside out.
Just as the size of a bucket determines how much water it can hold, eight years of hellish training had fully unlocked his body's potential.
Of course, he was still a bit behind someone like Tanzaburo Tojima, who was at the absolute limit of human capability. If not for the restrictions of world rules, he would likely be another One Punch Man in that universe.
Combined with Tanzaburo Tojima's full-power kick, this low-level Amazon was destined to be crippled, if not dead.
"Is it finished?!"
Tanzaburo Tojima stood up unsteadily after landing the flying kick, staring at the Amazon lying in the crater.
Okada Yuriko remained alert. "Don't lower your guard. It might be playing dead."
Hearing this, the Toad Amazon raised its right hand. The trio was startled and immediately assumed combat stances, but then, the Toad Amazon's body unexpectedly dissolved into a black liquid and shrank. Finally, it left behind only a puddle of black slime on the ground, emitting white steam.
"It's dead. But why did it turn into liquid?"
Okada Yuriko watched as the massive Monster turned into black liquid in the blink of an eye. This manner of death was essentially identical to the Shocker Combatmen killed by the Shocker Kaijin in the convenience store.
The difference was that the Shocker Combatmen were corroded by the Monster's poison needles, whereas this Amazon was kicked to death by Shiraishi Shin and Tanzaburo Tojima's double Rider Kick. Why was the result the same?
"Amazons are products created using artificial cells. They feed on human protein, so every Amazon views humans as food."
"When they haven't transformed, they look just like humans of various ages, but in reality, they've only existed for a few years. This one probably wasn't very strong—likely below B-rank for us to take it down. Most importantly, an Amazon's defense isn't as high as other Monsters, and their weakness is the heart."
Shiraishi Shin explained. He noticed an Armlet left in the crater alongside the liquid. In the original story, the Extermination Squad hunted Amazons and collected these Armlets to exchange for money within their organization.
"Then how many of these Amazons are there?"
Tanzaburo Tojima clenched his fists. Creatures that ate humans and possessed such strength were a complete disaster for humanity.
Shiraishi Shin replied, "I'm not entirely sure of the exact number, but there should be two or three thousand in the city."
Okada Yuriko turned pale with shock. "What? That many? Every single one is a man-eating Monster? This..."
"What bastards. Who would create such artificial Monsters? Could it be Shocker again?"
"Being shot a thousand times wouldn't be enough to vent my hatred."
While the two were venting their indignation, the headlights of a vehicle shone toward them. The trio turned to see a long business van.
The vehicle quickly stopped in front of the three. Six people stepped out, fully armed and carrying firearms that should have been strictly controlled.
Okada Yuriko whispered, "Who are these people? They're actually carrying guns?"
Tanzaburo Tojima said, "I don't know. But looking at their gear, could they be a special unit for dealing with Amazons?"
Shiraishi Shin didn't speak. He already knew who they were: the Extermination Squad from Kamen Rider Amazons.
"Makoto-san, the Amazon has been taken out."
Misaki Kazuya, a man with a goatee holding a shotgun, stepped forward to check the situation and picked up the Amazon Armlet from the crater.
Takai Nozomi, the only female in the Extermination Squad, said in surprise, "It was actually killed? This has happened a few times before. Just who is doing this?"
The captain, Shido Makoto, didn't speak. Instead, he looked at the trio opposite them. One was a young man who looked like a student, but what was with the other two? The woman was wearing a strange costume that looked somewhat like Denpa Ningen Takkuru's outfit, and the other was wearing a Kamen Rider mask. Was this cosplay?
He stepped forward two paces and asked, "Excuse me, did you see what happened here?"
Shiraishi Shin replied, "Of course we know. Because we're the ones who dealt with the Amazon in the crater."
"What?"
As soon as he said this, the six members of the Extermination Squad widened their eyes at the trio. This was an Amazon; even fully armed humans like them were extremely fragile in front of one.
The only reason they could hunt Amazons was that they had a 'good' Amazon on their team to fight them while they provided support to barely secure a win.
And these three beat an Amazon to death bare-handed? Impossible. Absolutely impossible!
"You killed the Amazon? Just who are you?"
Shido Makoto's throat moved as he swallowed. He looked at the three in horror. He believed it, because there was no reason to lie, and they even knew what an Amazon was.
"I am a Kamen Rider."
"I am Denpa Ningen Takkuru."
"I'm just a passing college student."
Their answers plunged the squad into silence once more.
Kamen Rider?
You're a Kamen Rider just because you wear a mask?
Tanzaburo Tojima also asked, "And who are you?"
Shido Makoto: "We are those who hunt Amazons..."
