After coming outside, Shiraishi Shin started jogging. It took many years to build up his current physique and strength, but physical abilities would decline after just half a year or a year of slacking off.
Therefore, even if he didn't train every day, he had to keep at it every few days to maintain his condition. Otherwise, his body functions would stiffen and rust, leading to sluggishness and a drop in strength, making him unable to perform some of his previously high-difficulty moves.
After running for fifteen minutes, he arrived at the park to do one hundred push-ups, one hundred sit-ups, fifty one-armed push-ups, and finally, he practiced punching against a tree.
"Whew... refreshing!"
After breaking into a sweat, Shiraishi Shin shook his hair, sending droplets of sweat flying. He clenched his fist, looking at his bulging muscles and feeling his own strength.
Watching the sun rise from the east, Shiraishi Shin took a deep breath. Just as he was preparing to leave the park, he faintly heard the sounds of fighting nearby.
"Someone is fighting?"
Driven by curiosity, Shiraishi Shin walked toward the source of the sound. After taking about ten steps, he discovered three people wearing black bodysuits fighting. Two men were attacking a woman, yet this two-on-one fight resulted in them being completely suppressed.
"Shocker Combatmen?"
Upon seeing their outfits, Shiraishi Shin recognized that these people were all Shocker Combatmen. But why were they fighting amongst themselves?
"They are all Shocker Combatmen, yet that female Shocker Organization is actually suppressing two Shocker Combatmen. Could she be at the squad leader level?"
Shiraishi Shin pondered internally, also puzzled as to why they were turning on each other. Judging by the intensity of their strikes, it didn't look like sparring; they were aiming to kill each other.
"You traitors deserve to die!"
Thunder Raiko used a Lariat, hooking her arm around the neck of the Shocker Organization Combatman she was fighting, and fiercely smashed his head into the ground. The opponent rolled his eyes back and passed out on the spot.
Seeing this, the other one turned in panic, trying to flee for his life. But Thunder Raiko's explosive speed was faster; from the moment the male Shocker Organization Combatman chose to turn his back on her, his fate was sealed.
Thunder Raiko caught up and grabbed him by the waist, then fell backward, smashing the male Shocker Organization Combatman's skull into the ground. The ground cracked, and he immediately dissolved into black liquid, dead.
Then, Thunder Raiko walked over to the unconscious Shocker Organization Combatman, crouched down to finish the job, and delivered a punch to his heart. That Shocker Organization Combatman also died.
"Traitors?"
Standing not far away, Shiraishi Shin heard what the female Shocker Organization Combatman had just said; she referred to the two male Shocker Combatmen as traitors.
Did "traitors" mean these two Shocker Combatmen refused to follow orders to kill, or was it something else?
"The person hiding over there, it's time to come out."
Thunder Raiko looked toward where Shiraishi Shin was located. This scene felt somewhat familiar; it seemed like it happened the same way two nights ago. She had been clearing out traitors, and after finishing, she noticed a human watching and called him out as well.
However, what Thunder Raiko didn't expect was that the person had the ability to suppress her—someone stronger than the average Shocker Organization Combatman—which was truly inconceivable.
After being defeated back then, she had passed out. Upon waking, she discovered that the opponent hadn't actually killed her. She didn't know if he hadn't realized she wasn't dead, or if he simply couldn't bring himself to do it.
Thunder Raiko had just barely escaped with her life.
And now, someone was peeking again while she was dealing with traitors. Surely this time it wouldn't be that tough guy again, right?
"I've been discovered?"
Shiraishi Shin walked out with an unchanging expression. They were Shocker Combatmen; their physical attributes and organs were far superior to ordinary humans, such as hearing, vision, and sensory perception. These weren't things that could be strengthened just by exercising.
"You saw everything, didn't you? Then I can't let you live!"
Thunder Raiko narrowed her eyes. It seemed this person was different from the tough guy wearing the Kamen Rider mask she had encountered last time; this was just an ordinary human. In that case, she wouldn't blame herself for being ruthless!
Shiraishi Shin's expression remained calm.
When Thunder Raiko rushed toward him with speed that surpassed a sprinting champion, he watched the fist flying toward him.
He who acts last, arrives first!
Shiraishi Shin grabbed Thunder Raiko's wrist with one hand, hooked her arm with the other, and then kicked her right calf with his right foot, using her own powerful momentum to fling her away.
Using a little force to deflect a thousand pounds.
"What!"
Thunder Raiko slid back three meters on her back before rolling into a crouch. She looked at the young man in front of her with surprise on her face.
Not an ordinary person, but a martial artist?
One can tell an expert by their first move. From the way Shiraishi Shin had calmly stood his ground and countered, she knew this person in front of her would be difficult to deal with.
Why did she keep running into humans who were so hard to deal with?
Thunder Raiko was a bit speechless, but she didn't dare to be careless now. She set up her stance and took a few tentative steps.
Seeing that Shiraishi Shin had no combat stance, she moved forward with a sliding tackle.
As she approached, Shiraishi Shin moved.
"Hah!"
Shiraishi Shin spread his arms like a great roc spreading its wings, bent his legs, and leaped two and a half meters high, dodging the sliding tackle. At the same time, he extended his right leg and delivered a flying kick downward.
Thunder Raiko looked up, her eyes wide.
This wasn't normal; this was absolutely not normal!
But there was no time to think. She crossed her arms, trying to block the flying kick.
However, Shiraishi Shin's kick was powerful and heavy; it broke through Thunder Raiko's block and struck her in the chest, though much of the force had been dissipated by then.
Even though the kick connected, Thunder Raiko only stumbled back two steps before stopping.
"His strength is far inferior to that uncle in the mask, but his technique is far above that man's."
This was Thunder Raiko's assessment of him after exchanging a few rounds with Shiraishi Shin.
"Are you a squad leader among the Shocker Combatmen?"
Shiraishi Shin felt that this female Shocker Organization Combatman's overall strength was much higher than that of ordinary Shocker Combatmen; her status should be higher than the average ones.
"I'm no squad leader. I'm just an ordinary Shocker Organization Combatman, too. It's just that before becoming a Shocker Organization Combatman, I was a professional wrestler."
Shiraishi Shin asked in surprise, "A professional wrestler? Do you mean to say you were a human before?"
Thunder Raiko said proudly, "That's right. I became a Shocker Organization Combatman because I drank the blood of Lord Bat Man, so naturally, there is a clear difference between me and ordinary Shocker Combatmen."
A professional wrestler plus a Shocker Organization Combatman created by drinking the blood of a Shocker Kaijin—this was the first time he had heard of such a strange occurrence.
However, this solved the mystery for Shiraishi Shin; no wonder her strength was greater than other ordinary Shocker Combatmen.
But even so, she was no match for him.
Shiraishi Shin put aside his earlier thought of just warming up and began to get serious. He took up a combat stance and then launched an attack.
His strength was not as great as Tanzaburo Tojima's, but he had formally studied martial arts and knew all the vital points of the human body.
Relying on his amazing technique and his own strength, he suppressed Thunder Raiko the moment they exchanged blows.
To put it bluntly, wrestling was just a sport, and it naturally couldn't compare to true combat martial arts.
