Oh no...I have to go to that haunted house again!?
Now it isn't that I have a problem with scary things, I even used to tease my younger sibling whenever they tried to hide behind me whenever we went there!
I swear that I'm not lying!
As I continued looking through the messages, some of them being from the park employees, I also slowly walked down the stairs and into the living room.
It was a pretty normal living room, especially when compared to His.
"Good child, why are you frowning?"
"Huh? I was?"
I slowly moved my hand all over my face but it was still as expressionless as usual, tch.
A small, deep chuckle could be heard coming from the kitchen along with the smell of what could best be described as a sweet ocean breeze.
I did my best to try and pout and then just sat down on the couch while I waited for breakfast to be made.
My family isn't really what I would call a 'normal' one, even without the whole 'noble family' thing, every single member of our family could best be described as 'eccentric'.
There's my papa, Yong, who has really bad social anxiety when near strangers unless he wears the theme parks mascot suit.
My auntie Bbal who is a proud sadist and horror lover. At the last family reunion she got into trouble because she decided to bring her 'pet' over.
Uncle Saek who likes to act like he is an actual noble, even designing his house to look like one of those olden palaces, with servants and everything (Who for some reason have to wear cat ears?).
There's Mama and she is.... difficult.
And then there's me! The one who is-
"Unemployed."
"Pardon?"
I quickly looked up from my phone only to be met with my Papa's face, his sparkly ocean blue hair now put into a bun.
"I was saying that now that you are 18, you cannot afford to still be unemployed. And so I have had a talk with your mother, the ocean drown that woman, and decided that you will be working at her company for a bit."
"B-but what about school?"
He slightly raised one of his well groomed eyebrows at that.
"You graduated early."
oh yeah....
"W-when exactly do I start?"
Please be next year, please be next year.
"Since it is your birthday today, you'll have to celebrate it here since the new employee orientation is tomorrow. I hear that it is something related to subways."
...Why would a pharmaceutical company be connected to subways?
