"you... I... What...?" Colette stuttered, still in shock at her husband's sudden death, and the words of the young man in front of her.
Adal sucked his teeth and dragged hold of the man's heavy corpse beneath him, pulling him towards Lady Cho's store.
"Follow," Adal ordered the wife, which she did.
Adal banged against the door, a few minutes later, Lady Cho waddled over and opened it.
She looked up Adal, then Colette, then the corpse beneath them. Then, she rolled her eyes.
"I should have known you would be trouble."
Adal reached into his pocket and threw a roll of cash at the woman. The amount made her eyes go wide, as she stepped aside and allowed them inside.
Adal dragged the body in, with Colette still shakily following behind him. Afterwards, Lady Cho locked the door.
"Don't tell me what happened, just tell me what you need." She asked, not wishing to incriminate herself more than she already had to.
