After Alise paved the way for her familia to follow, leading them ever forward, the rest of the familia didn't stop until every single monster on the floor had been slain. None were left alive by the time they stumbled back to the campsite.
Ceraunius and Gamelia had already prepared the tents for them, but… Everyone passed out the moment they were within sight of the dynamic duo.
"Huh, I guess there were quite a lot of monsters." Gamelia said, with a confused tilt.
"It's probably them having overcome their fear again. Just look at their smile, that's the one worn by those with pride in their successes."
"True, did you collect all of the magic stones for them?"
"Oh, yeah, all done there. I also grabbed some of those honey clouds for Lady Astraea. Dunno if she likes them, but a gift would be nice to have when visiting."
"Yeah… Cera, I know you're worried about the baby… I know why, but I really want one."
"I know, but I really don't want one without a familia proper. It'll be hard to keep up our training otherwise." He said, taking a seat by Gamelia, the two leaned against each other. "I need you."
"And I need you too. I really love Hera, she's done so much for us. But our goals differ, so it would be nice if this works out with Lady Astraea."
"I promise you this, if it works out, the first thing we do after getting settled in, will be to sire a new life."
Gamelia tilted her head to gaze into Ceraunius' eyes, powerful, sparking eyes staring right back at her. The two of them kissed with impassioned love. A moment that was accidentally interrupted…
"Oh, uh, sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you… Prince of Thunder." Bors said, going pale as a sheep.
Gamelia glared at him. "Cera, who is this annoying one eyed man that dares to interrupt our lovely kiss."
"He's just a fool in charge of the town down here. Though, he's at least smarter than the other screwballs there."
"Alright… So fool, spit it out already. You're interrupting my alone time with my husband."
"Yes, I was just hoping to ask if you'd mind getting rid of Goliath for us on your way up?"
"Oh? You don't want a crack at it?"
"Well, the thing is, those other fools are a bit, uh, weak. I'm the only level 3 in the town right now."
"Hmm, then why don't you go kill it? It's just one level, you got it right? Bors?"
"Oh, that's a great idea, darling! He can go deal with it while we get back to our lovely kissing. A shame it's not more… But I can bear with it."
"Huh? What? No, I can't do it, my skill isn't combat related, and I leveled up right away twice… I'm really quite a bit weaker than I could be, so…"
"Fine. We'll take care of it when we leave."
"And may I ask when that will be?"
"Probably a day? Maybe a little less." … "Surprised though, maybe it spawned just before the revulsion version did. Oh well, not a big deal."
"Thank you so much. I promise I'll tell everyone to keep it a secret that you were here. Now then, I'll just get out of your hair." Bors said, bowing, stepping backwards slowly, waving until he turned tail and ran away.
"There, now we can get right back to it."
Just as the two started sharing a kiss again, Ryuu woke up, and let out a little shriek when she saw the lewd display.
"T-t-t-they're k-k-kissing! S-so l-lewd!" She then covered her mouth and tried to go back to sleep.

The next day came, and camp was quickly taken down, Astraea familia, Ilta and her crew of two extras, plus Ceraunius and Gamelia, were ready to leave.
"Would it be too much trouble to ask you to handle the goliath? My head is still ringing a bit." Alise asked, rubbing her temples. "It's like a hangover, only worse."
"Pfft, sure, not a problem. I'll show you my magic next. Keep your eyes open."
"Right, thank you Gamelia."
They all began the trek upward, arriving on the 17th floor where they all bore witness to the incredible power of Gamelia's magic.
"What just happened?"
"Pfft, you're silly, you asked me to kill it for you, remember?"
"Oh, yeah, I just… it was so fast."
"Yup! It's just a little Goliath. Might as well be child's play…" Gamelia said, tapping her chin, in cheerful thought.
"It is child's play, remember? We killed that thing for fun when we were kids."
"Oh yeah, that's right. We killed it quite a bit."
Ceraunius smirked. "Your mind is still full of thoughts about that, isn't it?"
"That's right darling, you know me so well."
After gathering the drop items, the group began moving again. Carrying with them a hell of a haul, so, so, so many magic crystals and drop items. The entire return trip the party kept thinking all about how Gamelia's magic just ended Goliath in an instant. It was enough to really put into perspective just how much stronger the love birds were than everyone else.
"I don't think that Ottar would have been able to do it that easily."
"Certainly not that fast."
"If you thought that was crazy, we can defeat Balor, the monster rex of the 49th floor, in one shot too, just as easily." Gamelia teased.
"What? No way! The last report we got to read from Loki familia, and Freya familia is that Balor takes the combined effort of their strongest. And even then it was still a hard fight." Ilta said with wide eyes… "I've seen that monster myself. If you really can do to it, what you did to Goliath… Are you level 9?"
"Nope, my wifey and I are both Level 7. We actually reached it just before the great feud came to test Orario's resilience."
"What?" Ilta started shaking. "That was a test?"
"Yeah, it was. Even then it could hardly be more than a warm up for anything past the 60th floor." Gamelia added with a serious expression.
"But, so many people died…"
