Adrian's eyes slowly opened and the first thing he noticed was the fact that he was laying on Renelle's bed.
The events of last night suddenly started coming back, starting from his fight with the bull-like beasts to him teleporting here and falling asleep on his Lady's lap.
A smile appeared on his face as he recalled that, though, as her butler, he wasn't trained to make a habit of sleeping whilst your master took care of you.
But it wasn't as if he had been following his training when flirting with his lady either, so one more ignored rule should be fine.
Slowly, he looked down as he realized that something was wrapped around him, only to notice a head full of white hair.
His lady.
She had her head comfortably on his chest with both arms wrapped around him and she was blissfully asleep.
Careful not to wake her, he shifted his head slightly, just enough to get a better look at her face.
Her expression was peaceful, far more than he had ever seen it.
