Chapter 70 - Chapter 68: Crying Out Loud in Front of Paimon

"Mmm~"

Lumine bit her lip tightly, but a soft, delicate sound still slipped out. Startled, she quickly covered her mouth.

Although the two of them had already been intimate several times and experienced their peaks together, this was still relatively new territory.

This was the first time Lu Lin fully held her softness.

It wasn't as petite as Hu Tao's or Xiangling's, nor as overflowing as Ningguang's. Lumine was perfectly balanced — fitting warmly in his palm like polished jade. He kneaded gently, savoring the smooth sensation, enjoying the unique texture.

For Lumine, the sensation was far more overwhelming.

Under his skilled hands, she melted completely, her body turning weak as water. The warmth pooling in her lower abdomen intensified rapidly.

Sensing her trembling grow stronger, Lu Lin leaned in again and teased her ear, his lips brushing lightly.

A current seemed to surge from her earlobe through her entire body. She jerked slightly.

So fast?

Lu Lin couldn't help but smile inwardly. Lumine was more sensitive than the others. He hadn't even truly started yet, and she had already reached another crest.

"Alright… you should go now. If Paimon notices, we're finished!" Lumine whispered urgently once she regained some clarity.

Just then—

A system notification rang in Lu Lin's mind.

[Ding! Random system mission triggered: In Front of Paimon]

[Mission Objective: Complete Lumine's 100% conquest in front of Paimon. If Paimon discovers it, the mission fails.]

[Mission Reward: 1,000,000 Mora, 100 points, 300 EXP, and one random entry trait.]

That counts as a mission too?

Interesting.

Lu Lin recovered quickly and murmured in her ear, "You enjoyed yourself, but I'm still holding back. You're really going to chase me away like this?"

"But Paimon's here… she'll find out. Let's go somewhere else. The Jade Chamber…" Lumine compromised softly.

"No. Right here. That's what makes it fun." His tone was coaxing.

She tried to sit up, but being held tightly, she couldn't.

"Paimon…"

"She's drunk. If we're careful, she won't wake."

To reinforce his argument, his hands resumed their slow movements.

The warmth rose again. Lumine's resistance dissolved quickly.

Fine. Just this once. Absolutely no next time.

Sensing her softening, one of his hands traced down her waist and slipped beneath her sleepwear, squeezing her smooth curves.

There was no longer any fabric barrier.

Her body, toned from sword training and travel, was firm yet supple, warm and inviting. After lingering there, his fingers traced lower, venturing deeper than before.

"Ah!"

It was her first time being touched so directly. The unfamiliar sensation overwhelmed her, and fresh warmth spread through her body.

Glancing at Paimon's peaceful sleeping face only inches away, Lumine bit into her pillow to muffle herself.

Even so, faint sounds escaped.

Lu Lin felt a flicker of concern. She was too sensitive. What if Paimon actually woke?

Well, if the mission failed, so be it.

He stopped hesitating.

Lowering her sleepwear slightly, he pulled her closer.

"Turn around. Kiss me," he whispered.

Flexible as ever, she twisted to face him. Their lips met, and at the same moment, he moved.

"Lu Lin—"

Her startled cry was swallowed by the kiss.

Outside, wind rustled through trees. Inside, the faint creak of the bed and restrained breaths filled the room.

Trying to endure silently while overwhelmed was nearly impossible for someone as sensitive as Lumine.

Only five minutes passed, yet to her it felt endless.

At one moment, her hands clenched the sheets, and despite his kiss, a soft, sweet cry escaped.

She froze.

This time we're finished.

She closed her eyes, bracing herself.

But nothing happened.

After a few seconds, she cautiously looked toward Paimon.

Still fast asleep. Breathing steady. Even murmuring happily in her dreams.

She didn't wake?

Lu Lin was impressed.

Relieved, he grew bolder.

Adjusting her posture gently, he guided her closer.

"Don't… she'll hear…" Lumine whispered again, though less certain now.

"I'll give you something helpful," he murmured instructions softly in her ear.

"Will that really work?" she asked, doubtful.

"You're the one controlling it. Would I lie to you?"

She hesitated — she had indeed seen some kind of panel earlier.

Before she could overthink it, he resumed his rhythm.

Testing cautiously, she let out a soft sound while watching Paimon closely.

No reaction.

She raised her voice slightly.

Still nothing.

Amazed, her anxiety gradually melted away.

Her courage returned.

Little by little, her voice grew clearer, sweeter — no longer restrained.

Freed from fear, she let herself go.

Lu Lin no longer needed to hold back.

Her sleepwear had long since slipped to the floor. Moonlight poured through the window, coating her in a soft white glow — pure, radiant, almost sacred.

Yet beneath that holy glow, her body trembled rhythmically, a contrast that made the moment strangely beautiful.
