A young girl walked quickly toward her mistress. "Can I help you, young lady?" she asked.
The young lady, Amarella, looked at the gardener's daughter before her with arrogance and a smirk. As a descendant of nobility, she felt that no one was more powerful than her, especially in this house.
"Clean up Becky's urine," she said casually, pointing to her dog's urine.
The little gardener girl was immediately shocked. She knew what her mistress meant, because she was not being told to clean up the dog's urine with a cloth but with her own tongue.
And this immediately made her very sad.
It was enough that she was humiliated every day by this noblewoman, it was enough that her father was constantly tormented by this noblewoman, and it was enough that she was tortured by this noblewoman. Truly, the world was completely unfair to commoners like her.
"Hurry up! Licking dog urine like this won't change anything about you, commoner! You will remain dirty forever!" said Amarella with great satisfaction.
She was really happy to be able to continuously torture this dirty and disgusting gardener's child. In her opinion, commoners were very disgusting people, and she even thought they were more suited to living in pigsties.
Especially seeing the gardener's daughter appear before her. Her skin was dull, her face was not smooth, her hair was messy, her clothes were shabby, she had a large mole on her cheek, and her body odor was very disgusting. She was truly unworthy of even breathing the air in this environment.
"Hurry up!" Amarella was running out of patience.
The little girl was completely helpless. She knelt down and slowly bent over, as if ready to carry out her master's disgusting order.
"Young lady!" said a man who was the little girl's father.
Amarella immediately grinned.
The atmosphere here became even more exciting because someone else had arrived whom she could insult. Although, to be honest, she always wondered why commoners were so eager to take turns playing disgusting roles. Were they trying to maintain their self-respect? It was ridiculous, considering they had no self-respect whatsoever.
"Let me do it, young lady," said the gardener. He didn't want his child to continue to be tortured and insulted.
"F-Father." The little girl felt guilty; she couldn't bear it, because her father always took the place of Amarella's mistreatment of her.
But the father just smiled at his child, as if to say that he was fine.
After that, he immediately knelt down and licked Amarella's pet dog's urine without hesitation. Even though this was a very humiliating thing to do, he was willing to do it to save his only child.
The little girl could only hold back her tears as she watched her father do something humiliating to take her place. Moreover, the fake smile on her father's face made her feel even more guilty. Really, when would things like this end? She truly felt like she couldn't take it anymore.
"It's done, young lady. I've licked it all up." The gardener smiled at Amarella.
Amarella clicked her tongue. "Clean everything up properly, commoner!" she said and then left.
After Amarella left, the little girl immediately ran to her father and cried. She really couldn't bear to see her father being treated so badly.
Meanwhile, the father could only hug his daughter and stroke her hair to calm her down. He was willing to do anything to prevent his daughter from being ridiculed by Amarella.
"Forgive me, my child... forgive me, because you have to live like this."
The little girl cried even harder. She knew that she was just an ordinary person who had nothing, but she also couldn't bear to continue being treated with contempt like that.
"Father... forgive me too... forgive me..." The little girl continued to cry as she hugged her father's neck.
The father also cried silently as he tried to calm his little daughter. Life as an ordinary person was indeed very sad, but what could he do? This was the reality of life as a commoner in this kingdom.
Meanwhile, Amarella was in the back pavilion with her two servants. She looked very relaxed, enjoying her sweet snacks, without feeling guilty about what she had just done.
"Ah, enjoying sweet snacks in an atmosphere like this is really delightful."
She enjoyed the breeze blowing on her while continuing to chew her sweet food.
In front of her was a beautiful, well-maintained garden, and even the flowers grew beautifully. Coupled with the fountain in the middle of the garden, it made it look even more perfect.
But suddenly she remembered what had just happened. Indeed, there were still quite a few commoners working in her house to serve her, but that made her feel disgusted because, in her opinion, they were dirtier than animals.
She grinned and stabbed her fork into the cake on her plate, which was almost finished.
"They are really disgusting,"
Her smirk widened. She imagined that this cake was the commoners, whom she could easily eat or destroy. She continued to stab the cake with her fork over and over again until it was destroyed beyond recognition.
"They are really dirty! They are disgusting! They smell like rotten pigs! They deserve to be—Blegh!"
Suddenly, Amarella felt like vomiting. Her chest felt very tight, her breath was stuck, and her stomach was bloated.
She stared with her hands reaching for the air as if asking for help. She didn't know what was happening to her. But the longer it went on, the more her breath was stuck until she finally vomited.
"Blegh!"
She vomited everything in her mouth, but suddenly her eyes widened because what she vomited was not only the remains of her food but also two playing cards.
"Young lady, what's wrong?" The maids who were behind her began to realize that something was wrong with their mistress.
"Blegh!"
Amarella vomited a second time, but now it was worse because she vomited blood along with six playing cards. Tears immediately came to her eyes because she couldn't bear the excruciating pain in her throat.
"KYAAAAAAAA!!"
One maid screamed loudly when she saw Amarella's disgusting, strange, and terrifying vomit. Meanwhile, the other maids fainted from the shock.
Meanwhile, Amarella continued to vomit blood nonstop until her clean white table was completely stained red by her own vomit.
She cried as she tried to get everything out of her mouth. However, she seemed unable to stop because every time she vomited blood and playing cards from her mouth, her stomach would swell again, as if the playing cards kept appearing in her stomach.
"HELP!! HELP!!" shouted the maid in panic, unable to do anything.
"Ugh—Arrggghhhh!" Amarella tried to scream, but she vomited blood again along with many playing cards, until her vomit pooled on the floor of the pavilion.
She opened her mouth, then vomited continuously for quite a long time, which made her body feel very weak, her mouth numb, her eyes watering, and she lost a lot of blood.
As time passed, her condition worsened, and she couldn't hold it in any longer. Her head also began to spin, and she finally collapsed onto her own vomit.
But even so, the vomiting still did not stop and continued to come out of the corners of her mouth. She thrashed uncontrollably on the floor and felt excruciating pain in her throat and stomach, as if the playing cards in her mouth were damaging her internal organs.
Several maids immediately ran to the pavilion, while one maid who was screaming tried to help Amarella as best she could. The situation here was completely out of control. Everything was in chaos, but they also didn't know what had happened to their mistress.
And finally, Amarella died on top of her own disgusting vomit. Her internal organs were completely damaged, and she had lost a lot of blood. Her condition was truly hopeless, and this made all the maids panic.
"What is this?" The head maid had just arrived, and she turned her gaze to the young lady lying in her own vomit, with blood pooling around her and mixed with playing cards.
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

"All right, give me a big round of applause before I perform my final trick!" said a man wearing a mask and professional magician's clothes.
Instantly, the people in this fairly remote village applauded enthusiastically, making the magician smile behind his mask.
He was Carl, a nobleman who could use card magic. He was only 16 years old, but he could see the world through his own eyes because he had experienced a terrible incident in the past.
Because of this, he often spent his time traveling to various settlements and villages in Fernmels to entertain the common people with his magic skills.
But until now, people still had not realized his identity as a nobleman in this region. He always hid his face behind his mask, so people only knew him as the magician.
"DO IT AGAIN, MAGICIAN! DO IT AGAIN!"
The commoners continued to clap and cheer enthusiastically. They seemed very happy with the arrival of this card magician.
As commoners, they had no regular entertainment to relieve their fatigue. They could only work and try to enjoy their very hard lives. So when there were shows like this, especially free ones, they were really happy to welcome them.
Carl smiled behind his mask. He took off his magic hat, showing the audience that it was empty.
After that, he pointed his palm at a small child sitting on his father's back.
"Please say 'please turn into money' and then blow on my hand, handsome sir."
"Please turn into money," said the little boy, then blew on Carl's palm.
Carl immediately closed his hand as if he were carrying the little boy's words. Then he put his hand into his magic hat, turned it around several times, and put it back on.
He raised his magic wand into the air. "Please turn into reality! Please turn into reality!"
"Please turn into reality! Please turn into reality! Please turn into reality." The people joined in saying it.
Everyone said it with great enthusiasm. The parents, the children, the elderly. Everyone looked very excited and really enjoyed Carl's magic show.
Carl smiled at the festive atmosphere of these commoners. He pointed his magic wand at his magic hat and tapped it several times. "Please make it come true! Please make it come true!"
After that, he took off his hat again, put his hand inside it, and pretended to be looking for something. Finally, he pulled out a bag of gold coins, prompting the crowd to cheer.
"YAAAAAAYYYY!!"
Carl showed the gold coins in the bag, then gave them to the elders who were there.
The commoners immediately cheered happily. Receiving this kind of help would really ease their tax burden, and maybe they could even have a small party.
"Thank you so much, card magician! Thank you so much!"
Carl nodded, then smiled happily behind his mask. "All right, then, it's time for me to say goodbye."
He put both hands into his robe, took out the small, invisible cards attached to the inside of his robe, then pulled both hands out and threw the invisible cards into the air.
People were silent for a moment because they didn't see anything, but suddenly, playing cards began to fall from above, making everyone cheer with great joy.
"Goodbye." More and more playing cards fell from above, and Carl took advantage of this to leave the stage.
The people immediately shouted with great joy, thanking Carl for entertaining them and for helping them pay their taxes.
"Thank you, card magician!"
"I want to be a magician too!"
"Long live the card magician!!"
"Thank you! Don't forget to come back, card magician!"
"Thank you so much for entertaining us and helping us, card magician!"
People cheered with great joy at Carl's performance. Adults, elderly people, and children all really enjoyed Carl's performance, and they hoped to enjoy it again someday.
Although, to be honest, they didn't want more. A good, cool card magic show was enough to entertain them. But they also didn't refuse the gold coins that were given to them because they could ease their burden.
"SEE YOU AGAIN, CARD MAGICIAN!"
Carl ran away with a smile behind his mask, truly enjoying his side job. He also hoped to return to entertain the people of this village with his tricks.
"I feel like I rarely see a noble like you, Carl. You really show that you deserve to be a noble and help Fernmels become better. Especially with your card magic."
A maroon cat, which was the form of Katheze's illusion magic, had been watching Carl all this time. He knew that Carl had killed a noble's child in a sadistic and crazy way with his card magic. And because of that, he could be sure that Carl had principles that were more or less the same as his.
"We'll meet again soon, Carl. But not as a meeting between nobles, but as partners who will make this region better."
