Chapter 355 - 355

"Ah?" Mavis turned around, looking bewildered.

But Alan didn't have time for a lengthy explanation; he had already sensed the powerful magic contained within the briefcase. He reached out with his left hand, and Mavis was pulled back by a great force, flying toward him. Meanwhile, Alan leaped up, holding his wand inverted, and fiercely stabbed it toward the leather case.

However, just as Alan took to the air, the briefcase, which had been lying quietly on the ground, exploded. A wave of evil, tyrannical magic scattered as a fiery red color surged from within the case.

It was Fiendfyre!

Just as the cursed flames were poised to expand, Alan arrived, mobilizing all his magic. His wand burst forth with a dazzling, intense light.

"Finite Incantatem!"

As the spell struck the Fiendfyre, a powerful magical shockwave erupted from his wand, shattering every piece of glass in the room and blowing away the alchemy tools nearby. Under the force of the impact, the Fiendfyre failed to explode; it was extinguished instantly, like a tar-soaked torch hit by tons of icy water.

Kiki, Hog, and Mavis were all knocked to the ground. When they finally regained consciousness and stood up, shaking their heads, they saw Alan standing in the center of the room, radiating a look of tyrannical fury.

*Damn it. I hadn't even started looking for you yet, and you had the nerve to come knocking on my door first.*

Alan surveyed the chaotic scene with an expression of pure rage, his heart already filled with murderous intent. He wanted every member of the Silver Spears dead. After seeing that man pull out an aspen wand, he would have been an utter fool not to realize who was responsible.

*Since you dared to bring this war to my doorstep, don't blame me for resorting to unscrupulous methods.* Alan's eyes grew increasingly sinister. He turned with a sharp motion and glanced at Kiki, who had just stood up. "Kiki, you are responsible for restoring the shop and inventorying our losses."

Then he looked at Mavis, who was still rubbing her head. "Mavis, please inform the Ministry about what happened here. I have some urgent matters to attend to; I'll come find you later."

With that, Alan Apparated and vanished.

Kiki tilted her head and exchanged a look with Hog, a hint of fear in her eyes. Master Alan was truly angry this time; it seemed a major event was about to happen. Mavis also knew that something serious was amiss. Someone had openly attacked the trading company, and judging by the power of the spell, the intent was to level the entire shop. She dared not delay and rushed to the Ministry via the Floo Network.

By the time Mavis returned to the shop with Moody and a dozen Aurors, the storefront had already been restored to its original state by Kiki. However, most of the civilian products were gone, having been cleared out because they were damaged by the force of the Finite Incantatem.

Not long after the group arrived, Alan emerged from the inner room holding a pristine white mask, his expression gloomy.

"Alan, I received the news and rushed over. How are you? Are you alright?" Moody walked forward, leaning on his cane, his voice full of concern.

"I'm fine. I'm very well," Alan said, shaking his head. "And my research on the mask has yielded results. Now, I'm going to take you to find the bastard who tried to burn down my house."

"This..." Moody didn't expect Alan to be so direct. "Alan, don't be impulsive. I know you're angry, but those guys are not to be trifled with. Let us handle it."

"Aren't they just the Silver Spears? What's so hard to deal with? They came right to my doorstep. Do you think I'm someone who can be walked over?" Alan's eyes narrowed, sweeping a cold glance at Moody.

"How did you know about them?" Moody was surprised to hear the secret revealed so directly.

"Come in with me for a moment." Alan gave Moody a look and walked into the inner room. Moody knew Alan had something private to discuss, so he instructed the other Aurors to stay put and followed quickly.

Once they were alone, Moody eagerly repeated his question. "How do you know about the Silver Spear organization, and how are you so certain the attacker was one of theirs?"

"I've been paying attention to this organization for a long time, have you forgotten?" Alan reminded him. He had been asking Moody and Arthur about them for two years.

"As for why I know it was them—I saw the attacker use an aspen wand. I suspect the person who appeared today was Thunderbird."

"You even know their codenames?" Moody looked at him with surprise, then seemed to realize something. "Is there anything else you're hiding from me? Tell me everything now to avoid misunderstandings later."

"It seems you've guessed it." Alan saw Moody's expression and knew what the man was thinking. "That's right. I was the one who went to support the Scamanders that night, and I was the one who killed those two Silver Spears."

Alan had hidden his identity to avoid exposure and ensure his own safety, but now that they had attacked him without provocation, there was no reason to remain in the shadows. If he continued to hide his true strength from the Ministry, he would only be shooting himself in the foot. However, he did not reveal Aseria's identity; she was still useful to him.

"It was really you?"

Moody was stunned by the confession. He hadn't considered Alan at first, assuming the stranger was some foreign bounty hunter skilled in alchemy. But Alan's knowledge of the Silver Spears made the pieces fit. He quickly realized that the boy had hidden this for days; his acting skills were truly unparalleled. Moody couldn't help but give Alan a strange look.

"I learned from the surviving Silver Spear that a 'Spear' with the codename Thunderbird is in charge of their operations in Britain. I wanted to decipher the mask to find him, but I didn't expect him to appear right in front of me." As he spoke, Alan's expression turned grim again.
