And as I fly in this direction, I can see the solar barrier that was set up sometime ago.
As I approach, I see the specific part of the barrier I am looking at.
' To reach here I traveled a very big distance'.
I slow my self down for a bit.
' It really is still here'.
I look at the barrier.
I stop flying.
' Maybe she still maintains it'.
" Sigh ".
' I truly had friends'
' But I did a stupid thing'
' I left them with promises never to be fulfilled'.
' I left them alone'.
' Never even bothered to go back to them'.
" Sighhhhhhhh".
I start walking down like I am descending stairs.
STEP!STEP!STEP!
Each step I make somehow echoes in the vast emptiness of space.
Like a god is striking divine punishment on the universe.
Even the boundless universe qaukes.
' Please'.
' Me making the universe quake is what I can do if I want to'.
' I don't have such bad control of my strength'.
The universe quaking is because of some power in a far off plane trying to enter this plane.
I stop descending.
I then look ahead.
I see a small house that is attached to the side if a barrier.
' A world, truly'.
It looks simple.
So simple that mortals can even make it.
' She sure is always like this'.
I start walking towards it.
As I walk, my eyes suddenly go blurry and I then feel something wet sliding down my cheeks.
' It truly is like this'.
I don't pay that any attention.
I just clean my face and move on.
I then reach where it is supposed to be attached.
But I stop and just look at the house.
' There is a space barrier to make it look like it is attached to the barrier just right in front of you'.
' But there is a whole world of space between you and the house'.
' The barrier serves as something to teleport and hide as well as many other things'.
I just stand there and observe the barrier.
And then after sometime just standing there like I am a Statue,staring at the barrier.
I see someone moving in the house through the window.
' Time to leave'.
I turn around immediately and start walking away.
But she unexpectedly calls out to me.
" Selarion!".
I don't stop walking at all.
' You see me, I don't see you'.
I start ascending.
Not flying.
Walking in empty space like stairs.
As I step higher and higher,I feel something off.
So I stop.
' Does she really think she can stop me with her pitiful strength'.
I touch my forehead and shake my head.
Once I think things through a bit, I turn my head to her.
As her face enters my view, I enter a daze.
' When did she become this beautiful'.
But I immediately gain my senses back.
I turn my body to face her.
I look down on her house and her from where I am.
" Hello Sola".
I wave my hand.
She smiles at me from inside her house.
I enter a daze again.
' Is she using some bewitchment technique I not know of'.
I don't move and just stare at her.
" It really has been long Selarion".
She looks at my face too.
I nod unconsciously and answer.
" It truly has been long".
She makes a come sign with her hands.
" Come, come I give you some hospitality".
That's when I gain my senses again.
I shake my head.
" I'm sorry, but I can't come right now".
The smile on her face disappears as her eyes become downcast.
Tears started gathering in her eyes.
" It's been long".
She looks away from the ground and looks at me.
" Do you not care about me?!".
"!!!".
I freeze.
My face pales.
" No,no,no,no".
I say quickly.
" Th..the.thi.thing.. is..I am visiting your sister!!".
I stutter as I talk, but the last part of my words have strength.
I look down.
" You see".
I form a fist and put it at my chest.
" It has been a long time since I have visited your sister and my other friends".
' Yeah, I shouldn't be lying for something as simple as this'.
" So I decided to come today since I am free".
' More lies'.
She looks at my face.
But I turn my head away.
I turn my body to the barrier.
" Are you lying?".
I smile.
" This useless one wouldn't dare".
I immediately teleport to the barrier.
' I don't want more things to be on my mind'.
I extend my hand towards the barrier.
' I don't to reflect in many of those actions I took against and for my friends'.
I send a bit of energy into the barrier.
I then use that energy to open the barrier.
I then make the hole on the barrier wide enough for me to enter.
I pass though the barrier.
But, as I pass, something in my head feels strange.
' What's that'.
A stinging pain assaults my head.
But I ignore it.
' If I even react to this pain, I wouldn't even be worthy of my power'.
I just turn my attention to where the planet I want to go to is.
I teleport just outside of the world's atmosphere.
I appear.
Space solidifies at my feet.
So I just stand there and look at the world.
My eyes are just glued to the world as the light reflects in my eyes.
' What was I doing here?'.
I feel like something has been ripped out of me.
Like a very large portion of me has gone.
' But why would I feel like this?'.
' Was I here to destroy this place?'.
I shake my head.
' I doubt it'.
' Just the thought of doing that hurts my soul'.
' How the hell did I even get here?'.
' Was I forced?'.
' Lete check what would happen if I destroy this place'.
' Even if it pains me to do so'.
Flames start gathering at the top of my head.
But they gather at am extremely slow pace.
I don't react to that at all .
' There is something very wrong here'.
But then a very uncomfortable sensation appears In my head.
I just stand still.
And it comes as quickly as it goes.
Breathing suddenly gets harder.
Frost starts appearing on my body.
' Who am I?'.
I look down.
And see endless space.
I fall down on my but.
" W.....wha...what... what's t..the.. this..this pal..plac.. place!".
My breathing becomes laboured.
I feel coldness seeping into my bones.
I start shuddering.
' Who am I!?'.
' Where am I from?!'.
' What's this place!?'.
' How am I standing on nothing!?'.
' How do I even know what I am talking about in my head!?'.
Then, my breathing stops.
And then almost like on instinct, I jump.
But this is space.
And I start falling.
The confusion in my eyes disappears.
' Better prepare myself for the landing'.
I regain my memories for this short period.
But, not the power I have lost.
Otherwise, even me without knowing anything would not struggle in this type of place .
I immediately start falling like I am diving into a pool.
I start compressing space in front of me.
I leave a hole big enough for me to pass.
After I pass through, the space compresses quickly and I use it to push myself, making me move faster.
I then enter the atmosphere of the planet here.
' I don't feel like burning in the flames of purgatory'.
I immediately use a skill I have.
So that I don't catch on fire as I fall.
' I also have to use another one for the landing'.
The wind whistles through my ears as I pass though by a cloud.
I start circulating energy in my body.
It starts slow, then gets faster and faster quickly.
' Better use it now'.
I use the skill that will allow me to survive.
' I better cancel..'
But my thoughts fade, as I go unconscious.
.....
.....
Below the falling Selarion, there is a lush green forest.
It extends for miles and miles, as far as the human eye can see.
Selarion's unconscious body falls towards it.
But before he can reach the ground, something strange happens.
The branches of the trees begin moving.
They bend towards him.
One branch catches his leg.
Another catches his arm.
Another catches his body.
More branches move beneath him, slowing his fall little by little.
Until finally...
THUD!
His body lands on the ground.
The branches hold him there.
Then they slowly return to their original positions.
Selarion remains unconscious.
He doesn't move.
The forest becomes quiet again.
