' Wait, anxiety and worriedness'.

I see the little lass through the map at the middle of the city.
' It seems she went through the whole city first before going there'.
I look at the map.
' That's that only way the map can be this detailed of the place'.
I then focus back to what the little lass is doing.
The place she is at is the middle of the city.
She looks to be inside some kind of building or separate space that is there.
And it also seems she is just floating there watching something.
I watch as the dot representing her moves slowly in the area.
I watch for a few minutes before the dot suddenly starts speeding towards my direction.
I quickly dismiss the energy map and look up in the direction she is coming in.
I see a golden light getting bigger and bigger before it stops right in front of me.
I cover my eyes with my arm.
I look at the golden light with squinted eyes.
The golden light dims quickly, revealing the little lass.
After the golden light leaves, a little surprise blooms in my heart before disappearing quickly.
Her hair is dishelved and scruffy.
'It looks like she was scratching her hair out of worry for something'.
Her red dress is rinkly.
And she is also breathing heavily like she was just from running.
Also, just when I finished noticing her appearance, I also noticed that fate started doing what it is doing faster.
The little lass looks at me.
She smiles.
" My student,I have really bad news for you".
She pauses breathes in then continues.
" Your competitors are far stronger than you are now".
" And it is really unfortunate for you, even with your amazing talent, you wouldn't be able to be at he level of strength they would be when you meet for the first time or when you have to fight on my behalf against them".
I don't disturb her as she talks, and I just look at her.
' But okay, what competitors?'.
' Like what competition are you in, little lass?'.
' One that involves students or people you teach or something, right?'.
I look at her as I think that.
Her emotions don't fluctuate.
And she acts that she didn't hear my thoughts and starts talking again.
" But you shan't worry about that after the next few days".
' I wasn't worrying about it in the first place'.
That's when I notice the little lass on my shoulder with straightened clothes and a nice looking appearance.
At that moment, my surroundings change.
I don't feel discomfort.
I don't even feel like I moved.
At one moment, I was in the forest,and now I am here where ever here is.
And because of me not being disoriented, I quickly see my surroundings change.
So I immediately look around.
And I found it is in a somewhat similar place to where I was before.
But this time, just a big empty grassland.
And I also noticed something surprising.
Fate has returned to normal.
It is no longer acting like someone was using the strings of fate as guitar strings.
As how fate looked earlier comes to my mind, I smile.
' It really looked like someone was plucking the strings of fate'.
I then notice the little lass looking at me.
And I can't see playfulness or anything of the such going off her at the moment.
She opens her mouth and starts talking.
" Do you know, that I personally wasn't going to help you with anything".
' Well, I doubt that , but for what you want to hear, sure'.
I expect her to get angry or something.
But she doesn't so that.
She suddenly laughs a bit before continuing to talk.
" I don't have such bad control over my emotions".
She pokes my cheek a bit.
" Haven't you noticed my quick changes in emotion".
' Oh no, I have noticed that'.
' But I have never really wondered why you are like that'.
" Anyways, have you noticed that I haven't been teaching painting?".
Even though she asks that question, she doesn't look like she wants me to answer or interrupt her while she is talking, so I keep quiet.
" Sigh, I just wanted to help you get your memories, watch you grow stronger and see if you would be like a child again without your memories".
" And I also need you for a competition between two of my friends".
" I thought you with your overwhelming talent would let you dominate against the ones those two would be helping".
When she finishes the sentence, I touch her forehead before she can say anything more.
" Little lass, let me ask six questions".
I lower my arm.
I don't let her answer and just start talking.
" First, I want to know the reason as to why you want to start talking about the and your friends competition".
" Second, why am I here?".
" Third, I want to know why fate was acting the way it did".

I outstretch my hand and raise a finger and point straight ahead.
" The hell is that thing?".
My hand is pointed at a humanoid figure that is in the distance, just standing there.
And it has been there for quite sometime.
The little lass turns her tiny head to look where I am pointing.
After she turns her head, she just looks in the direction for a few seconds.
She then smiles.
She whips her head back in my direction with the same smile on her face.
" Oh, are you scared little boy?".
" Not at all".
I dust myself to remove the dust and sand that has been collecting on me for standing on the same position for a bit.
And it was blown in me by the ever blowing breeze in here.
" Fifth question, why can't move my legs?".
" And the last one, what is this place?".
With the same smile on her face, she goes on top of my head and starts playing with my hair.
She gets a two bunches of strands of my hair and starts doing something with them.
" I will answer them in the order you asked them".
I feel a pull on my hair.
I try looking up, but my eyes obviously can't look in the angle I want them to.
"The first question is why I suddenly want to start talking about me and my friends competition, right?".
I nod.
" Well, do you know I can see your future even if you're just bones, as long as you are not stronger than me?".
' Little lass,what kind of question is this?'.
' Of course I didn't know that'.
" I didn't know that".
I feel her moving to another spot on my head.

I fold arms.

"So like, you saw my future and then saw I lost or something and found this to be the best possible solution to make me strong enough in time or something?".
" Sigh, of course not".

" And because you are special, this is what would have and will always happen no matter how much one would have interfered with spacetime, fate or destiny".

I feel another pull in my hair immediately after I finish the question.
I wince slightly.

" Completely unrelated to the question".
Then the pull lightens slightly, so it doesn't pain anymore.
" Okay, you are right little lass, it was completely unrelated".
The little lass moves in my hair again.
" So you see, there are multiple reasons as to why I am telling you this this early and now, but you asked for a reason, so I will only give you one".

I nod.
