Chahat was sitting on the passenger seat of the car, while Aarav was driving beside her.
She kept looking at him quietly.
There was a soft smile on his face… and in his eyes, there was something she had never noticed so deeply before—respect.
Aarav noticed her gaze while driving.
He glanced at her and asked,
"What happened? Why are you looking at me like that?"
Chahat smiled softly and said,
"Aarav… I don't understand how to thank you."
Aarav chuckled lightly and replied,
"It's not like I've done something extraordinary. I just did what I should have done."
Chahat shook her head gently.
"No… it means a lot. The way you explained everything to my parents… the way you stood for me…" her voice became emotional, "because of you, all the misunderstandings between me and my parents got cleared."
She paused, her eyes slightly moist.
"Today, I was able to look into their eyes again… they understood me… they hugged me…"
She looked at him with gratitude,
"All of this happened because of you. Thank you so much, Aarav."
Aarav smiled, then teasingly said,
"Well… if you're thanking me so much, then maybe you should return the favor."
Chahat's eyes widened with excitement.
"Really? What do I have to do?"
Aarav burst into laughter.
"Oh Chahat… you're so innocent. I was just kidding."
Chahat made a small pout and said,
"No, tell me. What can I do to make you happy?"
Aarav looked at her for a moment, thinking.
"Okay… fine. I'll give you a chance," he said.
Chahat smiled eagerly,
"I won't say no, I promise."
Aarav said softly,
"There's a place nearby… I've always wanted to go there since childhood… but I never did."
Chahat asked curiously,
"But why?"
Aarav looked at her with warmth and said,
"Because I always thought… I'll go there after I get married… with someone special… and we'll enjoy that place together."
For a moment, Chahat was silent… then she smiled.
"That's it? That's your wish?" she said lightly.
"I have no problem at all. Can we go there now?"
Aarav smiled,
"Yes… we can go right now."
Chahat gently placed her hand on his and said,
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go."
The Place of Dreams
Soon, Aarav drove them to that special place.
As they reached, Chahat's eyes lit up.
It was a beautiful place filled with Rajasthani culture.
There were colorful decorations everywhere…
Traditional music filled the air…
People dressed in vibrant attire…
And the atmosphere was full of life.
There were performances like Kathputli (puppet dance) and traditional Rajasthani dances like Ghoomar.
Stalls of authentic food… handmade pots… and cultural art surrounded them.
Chahat looked around in amazement.
"It's so beautiful…" she whispered.
Aarav looked at her instead of the place…
For him, her happiness mattered more.
Moments That Brought Them Closer
A puppet show had just started.
Aarav and Chahat went and stood together to watch it.
The colorful puppets danced gracefully with music…
And both of them couldn't help but smile.
