The rest of the catacombs had an odd light radiating from it that felt like it came from nowhere and yet everywhere at once. It was gentle, and non-abrasive, yet always there.
Here, though, there was no such thing. There was just darkness as far as the eye could see, and if not for his map slowly populating with every step he took, Grey couldn't have guaranteed that he wouldn't run into any walls.
'This isn't good.'
Grey tried to recall if he had anything that could exude any light and ended up pulling out the Spear of Purpose. However, not long later, he found a flashlight in Joaquin's things.
At least the piggy was good for something.
'This better not be a fleshlight.'
Grey clicked the first button he could feel for and a sweeping cone of light extended out before him.
'Better.'
He continued forward. It shouldn't be long now.
It, indeed, wasn't long… before he ran into another dead end.
