The burning feeling only increased with every passing second until even Grey was starting to feel uncomfortable. He frowned.
His pain tolerance at this point had reached a truly exaggerated level. He couldn't remember the last time he had done much more than grunt because of pain.
He was truly certain that unless the Genesis System tried to kill him again, he could be indifferent to most things, even if it meant losing limbs or inner organs.
But this was starting to be a problem, and oddly enough, he couldn't decide whether he was feeling good or horrible. That only made it weirder.
On the one hand, it felt warm and soothing. But on the other, it prickled at him, needling and drilling into areas it had no business being in.
