Shirley Thorne didn't think his art was anything special, but to stay in character, she was supposed to be eager to see it.
She sighed, tilting her head back to flip off the heavens. Taking a deep breath to compose herself, she chirped, "Really? So fast! You can always count on the people Aunt Rowan finds. They're so reliable!"
Meredith Rowan smiled. "Why don't you take a look first? If you don't like it, it can still be changed."
"I'll be right there!"
Shirley Thorne hung up, grabbed her handbag, and bolted. She was completely in character.
Half an hour later, she arrived at the rehabilitation center. Florence Langley had been sent away to amuse herself again, leaving just Meredith Rowan and Shirley in the living room.
"Where's the painting?"
Shirley Thorne got straight to the point, too lazy to beat around the bush.
