"Let go!"
Mr. Rhodes's face was grim, his hawk-like eyes staring intently at Yuna Rhodes. His expression was as black as ink.
Hearing this, Yuna Rhodes's tight grip on her father's hand suddenly slackened. Her eyes were vacant and filled with tears.
She knew it was over for her.
Zack observed the two of them and finally said, "Mr. Rhodes, how about you come with us as well?"
When Mr. Rhodes heard this, his heart leaped into his throat as if he'd been caught red-handed. He said hurriedly, "I haven't committed any crime, why should I go with you? I'm not going!"
With that, he reached out, yanked Yuna Rhodes out from behind him, and said frantically, "Arrest her! Leave me out of it."
The police officers were speechless.
Zack looked at Mr. Rhodes as if he were a lunatic.
"Mr. Rhodes, you're Ms. Rhodes's legal guardian. You are required to accompany her."
Mr. Rhodes breathed a sigh of relief.
But then he remembered his bizarre behavior just now and felt a pang of guilt.
