Chloe was left speechless. She just turned and went upstairs.
Back in her room, she pulled out her test papers and started working.
Even though she had placed first on the last exam, she couldn't afford to underestimate her competition. The score gap between her and the person in second place was only fifteen points.
Every teacher had assigned a mountain of homework for the May Day holiday, giving even Chloe a bit of a headache.
"Sigh... when will this ever end?"

By the time Chloe finished all her homework, it was already ten o'clock at night.
