Seeing Chloe Sinclair's determined expression, Jasper Shaw found the young woman surprisingly cute.
"Take it. I'm sure we'll have many more opportunities to work together in the future."
Chloe Sinclair considered it seriously for a moment before finally signing her name on the line for Party B.
The contract was in duplicate. Chloe Sinclair put her copy into her bag.
"Are your college entrance exam scores out yet?"
Jasper Shaw took a sip of his coffee, a slight smile playing on his lips, his manner suggesting a familiar ease with Chloe Sinclair.
Chloe Sinclair, however, didn't find anything unusual about the way they interacted. She answered honestly, "Not yet. The results should be out in about half a month."
Jasper Shaw nodded in understanding and asked again, "Do you have any plans for the near future?"
Chloe Sinclair replied, "There are still many unresolved problems with high-temperature superconductivity. I expect I'll be at home researching for the next two months."
