Sharon Thorne froze, staring blankly as her assistant turned on her so quickly.
She couldn't help but curse, "Did you forget to take your meds today?!"
"Looks like you're the one who forgot to take your meds."
The assistant scoffed. Her gaze fell on the top three trending topics on Weibo as she said coolly, "Instead of wasting time yelling at me, you should go see what a dumpster fire your Weibo page has become."
After a moment, she seemed to remember something and added a warning, "And I'd advise you not to be lazy. Go visit a few more law firms and see if anyone will take your case. Gabriel Sinclair is playing for keeps this time. You'd better not cheap out and hire some random lawyer, or I'm afraid you'll have a hard time getting out of this."
With that, the assistant left, not looking back this time.
