Chloe Sinclair's hand, gripping the seatbelt, froze. Her dark eyes widened in surprise as she looked at Jasper Shaw, a thousand emotions flashing within them.
Finally, she burst out laughing. "Mr. Shaw, am I making you feel wronged?"
Anyone who didn't know better would think Jasper Shaw had suffered some terrible injustice.
'It's a real shame he's not an actor.'
Sure enough, Jasper Shaw's expression returned to its usual cold, unreadable mask.
But he was unusually insistent on the matter of their official status. "I'm serious. I want to make us official."
Chloe Sinclair raised an eyebrow. "Alright. We'll go public as soon as I get back."
With that, she pulled her phone from her small purse and gestured to him. "Come on."
Jasper Shaw asked, "What?"
"To take a picture, of course." Chloe Sinclair wasn't annoyed, explaining patiently, "A public announcement needs a picture, right?"
