"I'm back!"
Sonia Quincy pushed open the door to the hospital room and cheerfully greeted Felix Preston.
Felix had just finished up some business, so he was enjoying a rare moment of peace. When he saw Sonia return, he quickly put his phone down and sat obediently on the edge of the bed, waiting for her to come to him.
"Guess what I bought for you?" Sonia placed her bag on the table, then ambled over to Felix's bedside, leisurely swinging the paper bag in her hand.
Hearing this, Felix immediately closed his eyes and wrinkled his nose, sniffing the air. He caught a faint, sweet scent.
"Is it roasted sweet potato?" he guessed uncertainly.
"Nope." Sonia sat down on the edge of the bed, watching him with a mysterious smile.
"Hmm..." He furrowed his brow slightly in thought, then guessed again, "Sugar-roasted chestnuts?"
"You got it! They're sugar-roasted chestnuts!"
