Those two words were a first coming from Felix Preston. Sonia Quincy's eyes widened slightly, finding the pairing of him and an "apology letter" to be both strange and unbelievable.
"Wh-what kind of letter?"
Felix Preston kept his eyes downcast, the hand holding the apology letter trembling for some reason.
"An apology letter," he repeated in a low voice. "The one I wrote."
"...Why would you write an apology letter?" Sonia didn't understand, and she felt a little urge to laugh.
Felix adjusted his glasses, then cautiously raised his eyes to look at her. "Because I did something wrong."
"Like what?" Sonia asked, curious.
Felix: "There's… quite a bit. How about you let me read the letter to you?"
"...Alright." Sonia grabbed a pillow and propped it behind her back, trying to sit up as straight as she could. "Go on, I'm listening."
