The soft glow of the twin morning suns crested the horizon, bathing Ava, lying on her soft mattress, in its warmth.
She was still in her velvet night garment and had just confirmed the exit of the last of her roommates headed for the day's training.
The excuse she had given for her uncharacteristic refusal to partake in the day's training was that she was feeling under the weather and needed time to rest.
But Ava knew that was a lie.
She had not been able to sleep a wink the entire night and had been quite restless for the morning to come.
She was first disappointed that Caleb had suggested they move the timing of their date….
He then explained why….
He told her he had guests present, and he would rather move their special date to her own, more conducive accommodations.
Ava wasn't sure where those ladies had disappeared to, but she knew he was talking about them, and she, too, did not want them interrupting what they were about to do…..
