Bai Wanwan looked up and saw a dark, tanned face. His features were vaguely familiar, yet something seemed off.
"Shh, not a sound,"
Warm breath ghosted over her ear, sending a shiver down her spine.
"Unless you want me to take you away right now, so you'll never see your dear Beast Husbands and cubs again."
Roger!
She finally recognized the owner of that voice.
Bai Wanwan's pupils contracted. Her heart was about to pound out of her chest.
She had almost forgotten about this male, thinking he had long since died in the frozen wastes.
He wasn't dead!
'But why is he looking for me?'
Instinctively, she began to struggle with all her might.
But Roger's strength was astounding. His chest was pressed firmly against her back, and she could clearly feel his powerful heartbeat and the hard lines of his muscles.
"It seems you've already forgotten what I just said."
Bai Wanwan froze and shot him a fierce glare.
