For a moment, the doctor almost suspected that the female before him was a Mimic Mixed Species.
'Otherwise, how could a female look so much like Yuanbao, the virtual female on Claw?'
'Although Yuanbao had only ever revealed the upper half of her face, her eyes, brows, and facial contours were just too distinct. She was different from any female he had ever seen—or rather, she looked different from their entire race.'
'And it was too strange for "her" and this Leopard to appear here.'
'Although this was the 12th District, where females weren't exceedingly rare, their hospital was a small clinic on the district's fringe. It was near the train station, so it wasn't deserted, but it was still remote. In the nearly twenty years since its founding, they had never had a single medical record for a female.'
'Yuan... This female looked so young, barely an adult at most. Why was there only one male with her?'
