Gu Ning stood there, motionless.
The staff member patiently repeated what he had just said, but with a heavier tone.
Gu Ning shook her head, refusing.
The staff member frowned. The Beast Police who had been watching Gu Ning and her companion noticed something was amiss and began to close in.
"You can't cover your face for the security check." The staff member's attitude toward the Mixed Breed before him was still relatively mild. Her personal information indicated she was a soldier from the First Military District.
The First Military District was closest to the No Man's Land and formed the first line of defense against the Mutant Species. Constant contact with Mutant Species made degeneration a high risk, even though they used the best Degeneration Inhibitors available.
Gu Ning just shook her head again, gesturing to the staff member in coordination with Alex behind her.
'I can't act aggressively here, or the Beast Police will drag me away immediately.'
