"It's ten o'clock, it's getting late." Alex snapped back to reality, picked up his terminal to check the time, and strapped it back on his wrist. "Do you want to take a shower today? If not, let's go to sleep."
Gu Ning said, "I do." Before, it was inconvenient to shower with the IV drip. Now that she only had to take medicine every day, she definitely wanted to wash up in such a nice bathroom.
Alex stood up. "I'll go run the water for you."
"Alex, um..." Gu Ning grabbed his hand.
Alex looked down at her.
Gu Ning: "You don't have to run a bath. I'm not soaking. A sh-shower is fine."
"Alright." Alex: "Then I'll just..."
"She can't shower right now."
Before he could finish, Lanuo pushed the door open and interrupted him.
Gu Ning asked, "Why can't I?"
"I need to run some tests on you. You can shower after they're done."
