Nina answered with a hum.
Seeing Nina sit down at the table and drink her milk, Mr. Donovan couldn't resist gossiping, "This friend of yours... is it that Sherwood kid? Jasper Sherwood, right?"
Nina's face darkened. The last name she wanted to hear right now was Jasper Sherwood's.
"It's not him!"
"Oh?" Mr. Donovan didn't think much of it. It was fine by him if his daughter had many friends.
He slowly sipped his tea. "That kid Jasper is a good one. You should get to know him better. He's just like a younger version of me. If his luck holds, he's bound to make a name for himself one day. You should befriend him, not make an enemy of him."
Nina was speechless.
