The second time was when she reported a gang fight, which had them working around the clock for a week just to lecture a group of delinquents.
The third time involved kidnappers. She had somehow managed to subdue three able-bodied men while being forced into a car, and even rescued another child in the process.
One of the kidnappers was even killed, but it was later confirmed that Nina wasn't the one who killed him. She had only fired two shots, both in self-defense. Under the circumstances, the police couldn't possibly detain her, and most importantly, she was still a minor!
They only arrested the two surviving kidnappers and let Nina go home.
And then there was this time.
If Nina hadn't been so prompt and located the victim before the police arrived...
