The power system of the Turin Plane shared many similarities with that of the Wizard Civilization.
It was also divided into two major categories: Knights and spellcasters.
The Knight progression was also identical, advancing step-by-step from Apprentice Knight, to Knight, Grand Knight, and finally Legendary Knight.
Even the finer subdivisions within those ranks were the same.
The spellcasting side, however, was different.
The Turin Plane had no Wizards, only Priests who served Divine Spirits and spread their teachings.
Apprentice Priests were the equivalent of Wizard Apprentices in the Wizard Civilization.
The next rank, White-Robed Priests, were equivalent to Wizards.
The power of a White-Robed Priest came primarily from the grace of a Divine Spirit.
The level of grace they received determined the strength of their power.
