To Wizards, nearly all living things can be used as materials, differing only in their degree of usefulness.
Xenoinsects were no exception.
Besides their savage nature, xenoinsects were famous throughout the Multiverse for their Insect Crystals.
Insect Crystals are a type of Energy Crystal, similar to Magic Stones, Soul Crystal Stones, and Soul Crystals. The difference is that the energy structure of an Insect Crystal is unstable; if subjected to a violent impact, it can easily trigger an energy explosion.
However, this was not a problem for Wizards.
The Star Realm Alliance had long ago developed technology to stabilize the energy structure of Insect Crystals, turning them into a cheap source of energy.
Because of this, the Wizard Civilization was one of the few civilizations in the Multiverse that not only didn't fear xenoinsects, but often went looking for them.
