"You're a clever little thing."
Pei Ze chuckled and beckoned with his hand. The red bat obediently flew over to him.
"Did you lead me all the way here just so I could watch a fight?"
The red bat flitted from side to side as if to say no, then continued flying forward.
Pei Ze raised an eyebrow. Pushing aside his questions, he followed.
After another ten minutes or so, the red bat finally stopped, hovering and circling in place.
Confusion flickered in Pei Ze's eyes. He stepped forward to take a closer look and finally noticed that something was off.
"An illusion technique?"
'What an incredibly high-level technique! Even with my Spiritual Power, I couldn't detect a thing from more than ten meters away.'
A look of shock appeared on Pei Ze's face.
'Even a Rule Wizard couldn't have set up such a master-level Illusion Technique, could they?'
After a moment's hesitation, Pei Ze glanced at the red bat. In the end, his curiosity getting the better of him, he reached out.
