His eyes lit up with excitement the moment he saw it.
He turned to his roommate, Gao Lao, and said, "Gao Lao, I have to step out for a bit. Keep an eye out for me. If the professor suddenly calls on me, just say I went to the restroom."
Gao Lao gave him a mischievous grin. "What's the rush? Can't wait to see your girlfriend? You bring protection?"
"Get lost. What are you even talking about?" Jiang Sifan retorted with a laugh. "I'm going to work on a money-making project. If it works out, I'll bring you, Brother Ming, and Qiu Zai in. The four of us will make a fortune."
