The Sect Leader and the Supreme Elders.
These were all individuals of revered status. They rarely concerned themselves with the affairs of the Outer Sect, especially matters between Outer Disciples.
Even in Chu Qingyun's case, the only reason they knew his name and that such a person existed was because he had sold the Ten Thousand Spirits Saint Body Secret Technique to the Saint Extreme Sect.
It wasn't because of anything he had done in the Outer Sect.
"Heh heh, Zhou Qian, you really can't seem to shake that habit of protecting your own," one of the Supreme Elders chuckled.
Zhou Qian pursed his lips. "Protect my own? He's not even from my Pill Institute. I'm just worried the Saint Extreme Sect will lose a great talent."
"If he doesn't make it this year, he can just try again next year. The Inner Sect Qualification Tournament is held annually; it won't let a true genius be overlooked. Besides, the boy looks so young," the man said.
