On a quiet, rainy night in the southern part of the Ruer District, fingers tapped against a door.
"Yes?"
"Shetland, Shadow of the Ghosts, Red Rose."
The person inside was silent for a long moment. "Caster, Shadow of the Ghosts, Dark Dragon."
The person outside lowered the brim of their hat, their full, red lips parting slightly. "Open the door."
CREAK.
The door opened to reveal a petite figure. The flickering candlelight from inside the house illuminated the glasses on her face. "You shouldn't have come to Caster at this time."
Outside, Red Rose held a lantern in her hand and stepped inside. "Has something happened?"
"A lot has happened in the city-state these past few days..."
"For instance?" Red Rose pulled down her hood, revealing a deep cleavage. Her bright eyes held a hint of indifference.
Dark Dragon shook her head. "I haven't uncovered the specific intelligence yet, but from the current situation, it seems people from the Abyssal Sect are here."
