The next moment, Pioneer Corps Commander Eric's figure vanished from before Kantbell.
The battle-hardened Angel Hero Clan member, Kantbell, sensed something was wrong and quickly spun around.
But as he turned halfway,
the attack arrived as expected.
Appearing behind Kantbell, Pioneer Corps Commander Eric wielded his Jade Giant Sword as if it were weightless. With a simple slash, he carved a semicircle through the air, aiming to sever the wings on Kantbell's back.
A frantic sense of danger blared in Kantbell's mind.
Kantbell twisted his arm at an unnatural angle, whipping the Sword of Victory around to block behind him.
CLANG!
The two Top Level Semi-Divine Artifacts collided.
However, one was a premeditated attack, the other a hasty defense.
Who would win, and who would lose?
The outcome was clear at a glance!
The Jade Giant Sword bit deep into the Hero Angel Clan member Kantbell's back, tearing through his left wing.
