Fang Shuwen had just finished speaking when Zhou Zhengze's voice came from the mast:
"Hero Fang, it looks like there's a ship ahead."
Zuo Xuan strained his eyes and stared for a long time, but he couldn't see any ship.
Zhou Zhengze, looking out from his high vantage point, could naturally see farther.
But Fang Shuwen was right beside him, and his eyesight was so powerful it was astonishing.
Fang Shuwen glanced at Zuo Xuan.
"The ship is ahead, in the direction of Monkey Suppression Island."
The island's name was simple and unadorned. It was said to have originally been a deserted island.
It was covered in dense thickets and overrun by troublesome monkeys.
After it was discovered, people suppressed the monkey population, occupied the island, and named it Monkey Suppression Island.
As for whether the real disaster was the people or the monkeys, that was a matter of perspective.
